ECM Group Said to Near IPO Announcement for Chipmaking Supplier
French industrial conglomerate ECM Group is preparing for an initial public offering in Paris for its subsidiary Semco Technologies, according to people familiar with the matter.
ECM Group could make an announcement as soon as the end of this week about its intention to take the semiconductor manufacturing equipment maker public, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is confidential. An IPO could value Semco at about €200 million ($228 million), they said.
