At least two reported killed and several injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine
At least two people people were killed and several others injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine, local media reported on Sunday. Ukraine's air defence shot down 63 of 79 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to the country's Air Force. Drones were reportedly intercepted over areas including Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. Donetsk governor Vadym Filashkin said on Sunday that two people were killed and seven injured in the wave of Russian attacks. The Russian army also attacked the Khmelnytsky region with drones, causing a house to catch fire and injuring a woman. Local governor Serhii Tiurin said the woman was taken to hospital but later discharged. Ten private households were damaged by the blast wave. An electric transformer, power lines and the roof of a hangar at a nearby business were damaged. In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian drone hit the roof of an apartment building – causing a fire to break out.
