Jabal Al-Rahmah in Arafat welcomes pilgrims amid enhanced measures for comfort
Saudi Gazette report ARAFAT — Jabal Al-Rahmah or Mount of Mercy in Arafat welcomed large number of pilgrims who started gathering from early morning, spreading across its slopes to pray and seek mercy and forgiveness. This prominent landmark, located 17 kilometers from the Grand Mosque and rising about 65 meters high, holds deep religious significance as the place where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered his Farewell Sermon. Reflecting the leadership's commitment to pilgrim welfare, new projects totaling 196,000 square meters have been implemented around Jabal Al-Rahmah to combat heat stress. These initiatives include 1,200 square meters of canopies equipped with 129 misting fans, moderating the atmosphere and reducing temperatures to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for pilgrims.

Pittsburgh Steelers sign former Ohio State running back to one-year deal
The Pittsburgh Steelers are becoming huge fans of the colors of Scarlet and Gray. Cam Heyward has been a staple on the defense for years as an All-Pro, but Pittsburgh also selected Will Howard and Jack Sawyer in the NFL draft and added Malik Harrison in free agency to join punter Cam Johnston. And now, the latest move makes it six former Buckeyes on the squad with the signing of former Ohio State running back Trey Sermon this past week. Sermon spent just one year in Columbus after transferring from Oklahoma, but what a year it was. He was an explosive option in the backfield and set the single-game rushing record against Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game back in 2020. Advertisement That shortened COVID year was enough to improve Sermon's NFL draft stock. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2021 draft but has never really carved out a significant role, receiving just modest carries his rookie season, then having a cup of coffee with the Eagles before playing for the Colts the last two years. Sermon played in his most games and received the most carries of his career last year, but again had just modest success. He'll now try to catch on with a more significant and productive role with the Steelers.
