3 teen girls charged after fleeing traffic stops in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three teenage girls were arrested overnight after allegedly performing dangerous driving stunts during a car meetup and fleeing two traffic stops in South Nashville.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said officials in a Metro Police helicopter saw a white Ford Mustang driving dangerously and performing stunts in a parking lot on Trousdale Drive.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle twice, and both times the driver managed to flee. The car was eventually located at a nearby gas station.
The driver, 19-year-old Melanie Serrano Sanabria of Gallatin, and her passengers — an 18-year-old and 19-year-old — were arrested. Officials said alcohol was found inside the vehicle.

Serrano Sanabria is charged with two counts of felony evading arrest in a motor vehicle, misdemeanor alcohol possession under 21 years of age, misdemeanor inciting a riot and misdemeanor driving without a license. Her bond is set at $38,000.
The 18 and 19-year-old passengers were charged with misdemeanor underage alcohol possession and misdemeanor inciting a riot.
