Jessica Biel reveals what can be ‘scary' about raising kids with husband Justin Timberlake
Jessica Biel is opening up about one of the hardest things to navigate while being famous: motherhood. While promoting her upcoming show 'The Better Sister,' the actress, 43, sat down with InStyle for the magazine's 2025 Summer digital cover and discussed how she protects her children, who, unlike their famous parents, did not sign up to be in the public eye. Biel has two sons — Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4 — with superstar singer Justin Timberlake, 44. The star recalled one hard conversation she had with her oldest son before their rare public appearance last summer at the US Open. Silas plays tennis and wanted to go to the event; however, Biel was somewhat hesitant considering how high-profile it is. 'It's a tricky one, a tricky balance. We do really try hard not to expose them in a way that they're not comfortable with,' Biel told the outlet. 'My son was 9 at the time, and he's a huge tennis fan — that's his sport, that's what he plays.' Before they committed, Biel asked her firstborn if he was comfortable being photographed. 'We had this opportunity, and we talked about it. We talked about photographers. You know, 'Are you comfortable with that?' He can't make these decisions on his own, but at this point, we can at least discuss what's his opinion around it,' she noted. Despite the conversation, Biel said she was still uneasy about the decision. 'You really want to give your kids every experience. I don't know if it was the right decision, to be honest with you, but he and I had a good time,' the star added. 'It's scary every time. But it's also their life. And so it's this really tricky, tricky thing to figure out, what's appropriate.' Biel and Timberlake try their best to shield their boys, even keeping their faces off social media. While they are often included in the family photos on the A-lister's Instagram, Silas and Phineas' faces are either covered or hidden. 'If he was a kid actor, he'd probably work all the time,' Biel said of Silas, noting that while he's creative, she prefers he avoids showbiz until he's old enough to make the decision to enter the industry for himself. 'And when you're 18 years old, you want to be a professional? Have at it,' Biel said. 'That's your choice. That's what I would like to hold on to, if possible, for him, you know?' Biel and Timberlake began dating in 2007 and ended their relationship in March 2011 — but the breakup didn't last long. The actress and 'SexyBack' singer reunited in November 2011 and got engaged one month later. In October 2012, Biel and Timberlake said 'I do' in Italy. The pair's marriage had weathered several storms, including cheating rumors and an arrest. Speculations of an affair ran rampant in 2019 between Timberlake and Alisha Wainwright after the singer-turned-actor was caught holding hands with his 'Palmer' co-star. He addressed the rumors weeks later, publicly apologizing to his wife. 'A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better,' Timberlake wrote. 'This is not the example I want to set for my son,' he added. 'I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.' In June 2024, Timberlake was also arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York; however, the charge was dropped when he pleaded guilty to driving while impaired, a lesser charge. The 'Cry Me a River' singer's license was suspended in New York and he was hit with 25 hours of community service, a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, and had to issue a public statement. 'This is a mistake that I made but I'm hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake,' Timberlake said in September 2024.

Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce enjoyed a round of golf with her former 'celebrity crush' Justin Timberlake. The 35-year-old star Kansas City Chiefs player recently played in the 44-year-old pop star's 8AM Golf Invitational in Las Vegas. On Wednesday, Justin took to his Instagram to post a fun video of their group singing and dancing to Midnight Star's 1984 hit Curious alongside comedian Andrew Santino. Travis took charge as he grabbed his golf club and sung into the head like a microphone as Justin and Andrew, 41, danced behind him. The cute video ended with Justin and Travis sharing a handshake and a laugh together. The group hit the fairways for two rounds of golf - with Timberlake's team emerging victorious - before soaking up the delights of the strip. Back in 2008, Travis' megastar girlfriend Taylor Swift, 35, revealed that Justin was her 'musical crush' on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. At the time Ellen had then proceeded to bring out Justin to surprise Taylor at the time. Taylor was starstruck as she told the SexyBack hitmaker: 'Wow! It's really good to meet you. This is the best surprise ever. This is the best day ever.' At the time the NSYNC member even gave Taylor dating advice as he said: 'Where do I start? Ladies, you are just smarter than us. See, I've accepted that. 'I'm much more comfortable in my stupidity and I just roll with it, you know? So that makes me less of a jerk.' Meanwhile, Travis has embroiled himself in a bit of Taylor related drama on social media. Amidst the alleged drama between Taylor and Blake Lively, their significant others seem to be getting involved as Travis has now unfollowed Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. Though fans are not sure when exactly this unfollowing took place, there is widespread speculation that it happened on Sunday. It appears that Ryan still follows the Kansas City Chiefs star - though it's unclear whether this will change or whether he is currently aware of Travis' unfollowing. As for Taylor and Blake, the Simple Favor actress still follows the popstar. Taylor does not follow anyone on Instagram, Lively included. Blake doesn't follow Travis but it's unclear whether this is a new development or she just never followed him in the first place. All of this drama stems from the controversy that surrounds Lively's issues with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. Last week, exclusively revealed how Taylor and Hugh Jackman look set to be subpoenaed in the latest awkward turn of events in the ongoing legal battle between Blake and Justin. The A-listers were dragged into the increasingly toxic scuffle earlier this year after Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against her It Ends with Us costar in December, accusing him of sexual harassment and creating a 'hostile work environment on set.' Baldoni, 41, retaliated with his own $400 million filing against the actress, along with her husband, 48, accusing the couple of trying to tarnish his reputation. The rancorous back-and-forth is scheduled for a trial on March 29, 2026. All parties have denied respective allegations. Now, a source has told the Daily Mail that Jackman and Swift – who has not been seen with her best pal Lively since being hauled into the mess – will most 'definitely be served this week.' It was just reported earlier this month that Lively and Swift had patched their feud which seemed to be brought on by Lively allegedly dragging Swift into her It Ends With Us drama. Prior to that, the pair of friends were reportedly not on speaking terms. This changed when Lively was said to have apologized to Swift for the effects of her legal battle with Baldoni. It was even The pair have been friends since 2015 and have only grown closer since - not including their recent rift. Lively even accompanied her children to Swift's tours.

Long Island cop Michael Arkinson who arrested Justin Timberlake in Hamptons awarded ‘Officer of the Year'
The Long Island cop who arrested pop superstar Justin Timberlake for driving drunk in the Hamptons was awarded for making an 'immediate impact' during his first year on the job. Sag Harbor Village Police Officer Michael Arkinson, 24, was named the department's Officer of the Year during a ceremony on Jan 31, according to the Sag Harbor Express. 'Although Officer Arkinson was newly hired last year, he has made an immediate impact within the department and the community,' Chief Rob Drake said. '…He has a positive attitude and shown tremendous initiative, always wanting to participate and learn to improve his knowledge and skills to become a more well-rounded police officer.' Arkinson, who joined SHPD in March 2024, led the department in summonses and arrests — including pulling over and busting Timberlake in the ritzy Long Island town last year. In June, Arkinson spotted the 'Sexy Back' singer blow through a stop sign in his 2025 BMW SUV and swerve out of his lane. Timberlake claimed he had 'one martini' when hanging with his friends at Sag Harbor's posh American Hotel and was following them home before he was pulled over. Akinson noted in a criminal complaint that the singer 'appeared intoxicated' with 'bloodshot and glassy' eyes and was 'unable to follow instructions correctly' during his field sobriety test. He refused to take a Breathalyzer three times, according to documents. Atkinson 'was so young that he didn't even know' who Timberlake was during the early morning traffic stop, a source told Page Six. The Grammy winner allegedly told Atkinson, 'This is going to ruin the tour' at the time. Timberlake was charged with driving while intoxicated, which was dropped when he pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired, a lesser charge. He was also cited for running a stop sign. In August, the 'Cry Me a River' singer pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and had his license suspended in New York. He accepted a plea deal over a month later to avoid rehab treatment. As part of his plea deal, Timberlake was ordered to complete 25 hours of community service, make a public statement and pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge. 'This is a mistake that I made but I'm hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake,' Timberlake said last September. Arkinson developed a strict reputation among locals — who described the officer as the 'Sag Harbor Nazi' — despite having spent less than a year with the department. The Long Island native graduated from Southampton High School and Roger Williams University before he became a part-time traffic control officer in 2017. According to Page Six, Arkinson jumped into action to save a local, 25, who had been overdosing — just days before his confrontation with Timberlake.
