Egyptian actor Ahmed Ezz's new film "Ferqat Al Mawt" (Death Squad) has been delayed once again.
The film was no longer premiering in the summer, now set to release during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon 2026.

The cast also features Mahmoud Hemida, Menna Shalaby, Asser Yassin, Bayoumi Fouad, Essam Omar, Khaled Kamal, Roshdy El Shamy, Gihan El Shamashergy, and more.
The project marks the first collaboration between Ezz and Yassin as well as his fourth with Shalaby. They previously collaborated on films "Shabab Take Away" (2004), "Badal Faqed" (2009), and "Al Gareema" (2022).
It is scripted by Salah El Gehiny, directed by Ahmed Alaa El-Deeb, and produced by Sea Cinema Productions.
Ezz, born on July 23, 1971, made his first appearance in Assala's music video "Lama Gat Einak Fi Einy" in 1999.
In the same year, he appeared in Inas El-Degheidy's film "Kalam El Lail" (Night Whispers).
In 2001, Ezz landed the lead role in "Mothakerat Morahkah" (Memoirs of a Teenager).
His breakthrough role was in the TV series "Malak Rohi" (2003).
Ezz's career enjoyed a significant boost when he starred in the 2004 films "Hob El-Banat" (Girl's Love), and "Sana Oula Nasb" (First Year of Deception).
Afterwards, he began to play roles in Action, thriller, and suspense films.
