Published May 27th, 2025 - 07:29 GMT ALBAWABA - Renowned American rapper Eminem recently went viral on social media after bagging two wins at the 2025 AMAs (American Music Awards). The iconic hip-hop star thanked his fans through a video from Detroit City, and said, "Thank you... I appreciate that. I think it's been 23 years since I won my first AMA." He added that he won his first AMA awards when he was only 24 years old, describing his recent win as "crazy," and thanked fans again for nominating him. Now 52, the rapper has released 12 studio albums, 10 of which have topped the Billboard 200. The album, which was released under "Shady Records," debuted and peaked on the Billboard 200 charts, was nominated at the Grammys for "Best Rap Album," and received an extended version with more tracks. While Linkin Park's comeback track "The Emptiness Machine" took home "Favorite Rock Song," Twenty One Pilots came on top after snagging "Favorite Rock Album" and "Favorite Rock Artist." For Latino and Latina artists, Shakira's "Soltera" received "Favorite Latin Song," Bad Bunny's "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" scored "Favorite Latin Album," and Julion Alvarez y su Norteño Banda got "Favorite Latin Duo or Group."
