Lady Eagles top Jaguars in Class 4 State Quarterfinal soccer
NIXA–The Nixa Eagles girls soccer team is headed back to the Class 4 State Semifinals for the first time since 2013, after shutting out Blue Springs South, 1-0, at home, in the State Quarterfinals.
Nixa's Shaelee Franck netted the only goal of the match, midway through the second half, to propel the Lady Eagles to victory.
The win also breaks a 2-game losing streak to the Jaguars that dates back to last season, when Blue Springs South bounced Nixa out of the state tournament.
