AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Introduces ‘Ithra Buds' Youth Development Programme
Manama: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has launched 'Ithra Buds,' a targeted training programme designed to instill essential personal skills and life skills among children aged 10-12 years, focusing on foundational skills.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme will commence in the second half of January and will be supervised by specialised trainers who will provide coaching on key areas such as self-discovery and development. Incorporating various workshops, field trips, challenges, camps, sports days, arts and crafts, and project-based activities into the curriculum, the programme aims to deliver an engaging and inspiring experience to over 30 participants.
'Ithra Buds' was launched after a thorough study of the applicants' particular needs. The programme will span two seasons each year, with the first organised during the spring break while the other is offered in the summer holidays. Graduates of 'Ithra Buds' will have the opportunity to join the Foundation's 'Ithra Seniors' programme, which caters to those aged 13 to 14, and later progress to 'Ithra Youth' for ages 15 to 16.
Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, highlighted that the programme is part of MKF's youth development initiatives, representing a commitment to building social and cultural awareness among young people by upskilling them in leadership, community engagement, life planning, confidence building, initiative, responsibility, and patriotism.
HH Shaikha Zain bint Khalid emphasised that these projects are deeply rooted in the belief in the potential of Bahraini youth and are driven by a vision to nurture a generation well-equipped to lead and contribute positively to society.
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation was founded with a mission to hone youth's talents and inspire them to become changemakers of tomorrow. The organisation offers a wide array of learning opportunities through detailed workshops and courses that provide young Bahrainis with the necessary acumen to become valuable representatives of their communities.
