Cairo – May 25, 2025: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) continues its positive performance from last week, closing Sunday's session with a now 4-day green streak. Benchmark index EGX 30 was up by 0.15 percent to end the session with 32,023.89 points. The Shairah index increased by 0.19 percent to reach 3,275.13 points. EGX jumped by 0.66 percent to close the session with 9,452.08 points, followed by EGX 100 rising by 0.61 percent to reach 12,854.25 points. Sunday trading reported over 1.374 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of LE 4.24 billion. Market capitalization hit LE 2.2567 trillion. Trading on securities saw Egyptian investors as the lone net buyer with LE 206.4 million. Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with LE 179.7 million and LE 26.7 million, respectively. The top gains of the session General Silos & Storage which jumped by 13 percent, Misr National Steel – Ataqa by 7.91 percent, and Iron And Steel for Mines and Quarries by 6.93 percent. The largest losses of the session were by Gogreen for Agricultural Investment which dropped by 5.88 percent, Sues Canal Company For Technology Settling by 5.85 percent, and The Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda by 3.84 percent.

Cairo – April 23, 2025: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) saw a sharp rise in trading today, as the benchmark index EGX 30 soared during Wednesday trading, surging 2.58 percent to reach 31,640.22 points. The Shairah index was up by 1.32 percent to hit 3,257.39 points. EGX 70 jumped by 1.27 percent to 9,227.49 points, with the EGX 100 rising 1.47 percent to end the session with 12,607.04 points. Wednesday trading closed with 1.379 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of LE 3.859 billion. Market capitalization was recorded at LE 2.2434 trillion. Trading on securities saw Egyptian and foreign traders as net sellers with LE 69.52 million and LE 46.27 million. Arab investors were net buyers with LE 115.8 million. The top gains of the session were Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment which was up by 13.32 percent, Gogreen for Agricultural Investment by 13.08 percent, and Alexandria New Medical Center by 12.18 percent. The largest losses of the session were by Golden Pyramids Plaza which dropped by 3.85 percent, Cairo Poultry by 2.8 percent, and Egyptian Transport (EGYTRANS) by 2.69 percent.

Cairo – February 6, 2025: Pushed by regional investor purchasing, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) was able to rally and close on a positive note this Thursday. Benchmark index EGX 40 was up by 0.93 percent to return to the 30k zone, closing the session with 30,011.84 points. The Shairah index grew by 0.74 percent to reach 3,166.02 points. EGX 70 increased by 0.81 percent to 8,609.99 points, followed by EGX 100 climbing 0.68 percent to end the session with 11,731.98 points. Thursday trading saw 2.1 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of LE 3.105 billion. Market capitalization was recorded at LE 2.2215 trillion, adding around LE 14.9 billion compared to Wednesday's close of LE 2.2066 trillion. Trading on securities saw Egyptian and Arab investors as net buyers with LE 45.45 million and LE 74 million, respectively. Foreign traders were net sellers with LE 113.4 million. The top gains of the session were by Cairo Oils & Soap which climbed by 18.18 percent, Gadwa for Industrial Development by 6.89 percent, and South Valley Cement by 6.88 percent. Notable company gains were Eastern Company which was up by 6.6 percent, Sidpec by 3.6 percent, and Telecom Egypt by 2.4 percent. The largest losses of the session were by Middle & West Delta Flour Mills which dropped by 5.47 percent, Rowad Tourism (Al Rowad) by 5 percent, and Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool by 4.25 percent. Notable company losses were Rameda Pharmaceuticals which dropped by 2.2 percent, Qatar National Bank by 2.06 percent, and Beltone Holding by 1.98 percent
