IRCTC announces air package tours to Sri Lanka, Kerala and Gujarat from Vizag
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched special air package tours to Sri Lanka, Gujarat and Kerala from Visakhapatnam.
The Sri Lanka Ramayana Yatra, along with Shankari Devi Shakti Peeth, will cover Colombo, Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwaraeliya, Manweri temple, Dambulla Cave temple, Sri Lakshmi Narayana temple and some other temples. The tour will commence on June 28 and conclude on July 3, Sanghamitra Rout from IRCTC, Bhubaneswar, told the media, here, on Wednesday.
The cost per person for single occupancy is ₹89,845, ₹69,450 for double occupancy and ₹68,840 for triple occupancy. The package includes airfare from Visakhapatnam to Colombo and back, accommodation in a three-star hotel, breakfast, lunch and dinner as per itinerary, entry fee at temples and monuments and Sri Lanka tourist Visa.
'Scenic Kerala' package
The destinations covered under the 'Scenic Kerala' package includes various tourist spots in Kochi, Munnar, Kumarakom/Alleppey, Thekkady, Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, Azhimala temple and Kovalam Beach. This tour will organised from September 12 to 18. The cost per head for single occupancy is ₹52,590, ₹38,030 for double occupancy and ₹36,380 for triple occupancy.
Gujarat tour
The nine-night-10-day tour of 'Shrines of Gujarat with Statue of Unity' will cover the Akshardham Swaminarayan temple, Gandhi Ashram and Adlaja Step Well; Bet Dwaraka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Rukmini temple in Dwaraka; Mahatma Gandhi's birth place, Sudama temple and Somnath Jyotirlinga in Porbandar; Diu-Naida Cave, Gangeswar Mahadev temple and Diu Fort and Gir National Park and Laxmi Vilas Palace and Sur Sagar Lake from Vadodara. The cost per head for single occupancy is ₹63,635, ₹46,085 for double occupancy and ₹44,205 for triple occupancy.
The IRCTC is also organising train package tours to Varanasi, Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, Prayagraj and Shringverpur from June 14 to 22.
