Eufaula woman killed in weekend crash
EUFAULA, Ala (WDHN) — One woman is dead after a weekend crash near Eufaula.
According to ALEA, 42-year-old Shannon L. Napper was fatally injured when her 2012 Cadillac CTS left the road and hit a tree.
Troopers say Napper was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Husband accused of strangling wife denied lower bond
The crash occurred at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Sunday on Cottonhill Road, near the intersection of Nolan Road.
Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is investigating.
