Sharia Sciences College Board of Trustees holds first meeting of 2025
Muscat —- The Board of Trustees of the Sharia Sciences College held its first meeting for the year 2025 today. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. During the session, the board reviewed the implementation of resolutions from its second meeting in 2024, examined the final financial report for 2024, and approved the 2025 budget. It also endorsed the appointment of an Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Additionally, the meeting discussed the report of the college's third conference, approved cooperation programs with several institutions, and ratified a collaboration agreement with Al Bayt University. The board also approved the list of 2024 graduates from the distance learning program.

Youth Minister honors graduates of Al-Badr Qur'anic School
Sana'a - Saba: The Minister of Youth , Sports and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mawlad, honored on Sunday in Sana'a the graduates of the second level of Al-Badr College for the Holy Qur'an and Sharia Sciences, 180 students from Bani Al-Harith and Al-Thawra districts. At the ceremony, which was held at the theater of the Orphan Foundation, Minister Al-Mawlad stressed the importance of Qur'anic schools and colleges in linking with the Book of God, the greatest guide for all the children of the nation, in building a generation armed with Qur'anic culture, useful sciences and knowledge, following the path of truth, adopting the culture, morals and values, avoiding the prohibitions and injunctions of the Qur'an and immunizing the nation from the danger of the enemies of Islam from Jews , Christians, and following the methodology of flags of guidance. The Youth Minister, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth for the Sports Sector, Ali Hadban, praised the efforts of teachers who perform the highest educational mission and are keen on the success of the sacred religious knowledge process. Congratulations to the graduates who were honored to be associated with the Book of God. The Director of the Youth Center for Training and Development, Dr. Ali Al-Ma'anqi, praised the achievements of Al-Badr College and Schools for the Holy Qur'an and Sharia Sciences as Qur'anic educational incubators that accommodate thousands of youth and young people to memorize the Book of Allah, study its meanings, consolidate the Qur'anic culture and faith identity among the community. He pointed out the importance of building a generation armed with values, strengthened with Qur'anic culture, who sanctify their religion , identity and preserve their dignity, and not leaving them exposed to the culture of misinformation and domestication marketed by hostile media outlets, misleading cultural platforms, and the alien thought of the countries of aggression and the enemies of the nation.
