This cordless Shark stick vacuum — a rare 50% off — has a little secret up its sleeve
Is it just me, or is there something about the start of spring that says, "Stop and smell the roses" ... maybe because actual flowers are finally starting to blossom. At any rate, I can tell you what this time of year is not about — and that's getting a whiff of something funky while you're spring cleaning. Well, Amazon shoppers have discovered a floor-freshening find that'll become your nose's BFF: the Shark Cordless Pro Vacuum. At first glance, it looks like your standard stick vac, but it's got a fun little feature called Odor Neutralizer Technology to keep things smelling good. What's arguably even more fun is the fact that it's currently on rare sale for $200 (down from $400) at Amazon. Looks like your bank account's about to get a new bestie, too. According to my price trackers, this is as low as this vacuum's ever been aside from Black Friday, when it was just 10 bucks less. FYI, several reviewers say it's "better than our Dyson," and those vacs typically cost way more than $200. Have you ever been in the middle of vacuuming and you suddenly smell something unpleasant coming from the direction of the machine? This can be caused by several things, the most common being that the vacuum's collection bin is stuffed with dust, dirt, hair and all sorts of icky debris. But, cleaning should make our homes smell better, not worse — and the folks at Shark seem to be aware of this, given the Cordless Pro's design. The aforementioned Odor Neutralizer Technology works to protect against foul odors by way of clean-smelling cartridges, two of which come with the vacuum. Now those stenches won't seep into your home, and you can go on vacuuming with glee (or, at least, with unoffended senses). Another cool feature? This Shark's Clean Sense IQ, which allows it to sense when it comes across a spot with more debris so it can amp up the cleaning power. An LED display lets you know how much battery is left — it can run for up to 40 minutes per charge — as well as which suction level it's on. Need to reach surfaces like furniture and steps? The top portion pops out so you can use it as a handheld, and it comes with crevice and pet tool attachments. Speaking of pets, the brush roll is self-cleaning to avoid tangled messes and has "PowerFins" to grab gunk lodged deep into carpets. All that in an appliance that weighs just over 8 pounds? Good things really do come in small packages. Still on the fence? This vac's verified users praise it for its suction power, lightweight feel and maneuverability. "I have had a Dyson for the last four years and absolutely loved it, but it was time for a new vacuum," shared a convert. "I had heard many good reviews about Shark vacuums, so I decided to give it a try. Best decision. ...
