Shark Tank India 2 fame menswear brand pitcher raises Rs 340 crore; makes Rs 2,500 crore valuation
Bengaluru-based menswear brand named Snitch that once made waves on Shark Tank India Season 2, has achieved a remarkable milestone — securing Rs.340 crore in Series B funding at a soaring valuation of over Rs.2,500 crore. Founded in 2020 by Siddharth Dungarwal, Snitch has built a strong identity as a trend-first fashion label catering to Gen Z and millennial men. Its rapid-fire release of new collections—dropping fresh designs every week—has positioned the brand as a cult favorite. Snitch's agile business model, powered by lean manufacturing and a quick-turnaround supply chain, allows it to keep inventory cycles tight while staying profitable. This strategy has helped the company clock 120% year-on-year growth. With the newly raised capital, Snitch aims to more than double its retail footprint, expanding from 55 stores to 100 by the end of 2025. The brand is also gearing up to explore international markets and quick commerce as part of its next growth phase. The startup first captured national attention with its Shark Tank India debut, where it raised Rs.1.5 crore at a Rs.100 crore valuation from all five sharks — Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain — in exchange for a 1.5% equity stake. From a bootstrapped newcomer, Snitch's rise underscores the power of strategic scaling, bold branding, and investor confidence.

Shark Tank India's Parul Gulati to make her Cannes debut; writes ‘It's a full circle'
Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati , who rose to prominence through Shark Tank India Season 2 , is set to make her debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year. Sharing her excitement and emotions on social media, Parul reminisced about her earlier visit to Cannes in 2021 while shooting in France for the series Made in Heaven . 'In December 2021, I was in France shooting for Made in Heaven and had a day off. I found out Cannes was just an hour away by train, so I went. Sadly, I couldn't step on the red carpet or the steps of the Cannes theatre due to barricades. I was manifesting so hard that one day I would. And this year, your girl is going to Cannes… It's a full circle,' she wrote, along with glimpses from her visit to Cannes. Parul, known not just for her acting prowess but also for her business acumen, is the founder of a successful hair extension brand. Her appearance on Shark Tank India earned her a deal with Amit Jain, which significantly boosted her brand's growth. In an interview with TOI TV, Parul opened up about her journey, the impact of Shark Tank, and how she maintains a balance between her dual careers. 'It's definitely not easy managing both acting and the business. I'm deeply passionate about both, and honestly, there are days when it feels overwhelming. But what really helps is having a great team,' she said. She added, 'I've always said this—I'm married to my acting career, and my brand is my child. Women are naturally great at multitasking. If we can be a wife and a mother, why can't I be an actress and a businesswoman too?' Parul's Cannes debut marks not just a career milestone but a deeply personal triumph of dreams coming full circle.
