Kansas City police dispatch tell FOX4 the victim in Saturday's shooting was alert and talking but did not know extent of injuries at this time.
Multiple neighbors told FOX4 on Friday they're fed up with the crime that's been happening in the area and feel they aren't being listened to by apartment management or police.

'The fact that there's been two shootings in less than 24 hours, that's saying a lot,' neighbor Shellie Rowe said. 'What does it stop? When do we get the help we need? When do we get problem solving conflict resolution? When do we, as neighbors, sit down and discuss what a problem is before it leads to gunfire?'
Rowe lives in the area and wants to see more action taken to prevent gun violence and other crimes.
'People need an outlet in order to discuss the problem before it becomes a murder or a shooting and we need to have better resources here to get the help that people need,' she added. 'It's very overwhelming and people are crying out for help, and we need people listening and trying to pull together some resources to help the people resolve issues and problems before it gets out of hand.'
FOX4 has reached out to the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department multiple times on the shootings but haven't heard back at this time.
