Shepherd of the Valley hosts senior resource fair
GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) — Local seniors are getting connected with resources that may make life a little simpler. Shepherd of the Valley hosted a Senior Resource Fair Wednesday, brining together a wide range of local organizations and services, like home care, insurance, therapy, legal support and more. The event was free and open to the public, featuring more than 30 vendors from across the Mahoning Valley, designed to support the well-being of older adults and their caregivers. 'This a great opportunity for the local seniors in the community to come in and check out all of the vendors that we have and all of the services,' said Lauren Flauto, Shepherd of the Valley Director of Marketing. 'Whether it's about health-related services or downsizing, it's a great opportunity to come and learn more information.' Shepherd held a similar event two weeks ago at its Poland location, with roughly 75 people attending. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
