Lady Vol Softball earns No. 7 seed in NCAA tournament
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Lady Vol Softball has been given the No. 7 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host Miami (OH), UNC and Ohio State in regional play. Tennessee will also host a Super Regional if the Lady Vols were to advance to the next round. Tennessee will face Miami (OH) in game one on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. Tennessee finished the regular season 40-13 with a 15-9 record in the SEC, before falling to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.
