Manitowoc police looking for information about dog in biting incident near Lower Schuette
MANITOWOC – Police are looking for information after a dog — described as brown/black in color with long hair and similar to a German Shepherd — bit a person in the 3800 block of Broadway Street Monday afternoon.
Police said a person was walking their dog near Lower Schuette Park when they were approached by the other dog, which was unsupervised. When the person tried to read the collars on the unsupervised dog, the dog bit the person. The incident happened between 1:30 and 2 p.m. March 10.
Police said anyone with information is asked to call the Shift Commander at 920-686-6551 and reference case No. 2025-00002515. They said the concern is the vaccination status of the attacking dog is unknown.
