Sayyid Shihab receives Crown Prince of Dubai
Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs received Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the presence of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp on Monday. Upon the arrival of Sheikh Hamdan to the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence at Al Murtafaa Camp, an official reception was accorded to him, as the guard of honour saluted him. At the outset of the meeting, HH Sayyid Shihab welcomed the guest, wishing him a successful visit. The meeting reviewed relations between Oman and the UAE and discussed a set of topics of common interests. They also reviewed areas of military cooperation between the defence ministries of both countries, and means of promoting them.

Sayyid Shihab meets Prime Minister of Iraq
Bghdad: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Head of the Sultanate of Oman's delegation at the 34th Arab Summit, met on the sidelines of the Summit on Friday with Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq. The meeting reviewed relations between the two countries and means of promoting cooperation in various areas. The two sides also exchanged views on a set of current issues.
