Morgantown nursing home hosts Mother's Day Tea
MORGANTOWN, (WBOY) — Sundale Rehabilitation and Long Term Care held tea time on Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day.
Residents of the nursing home enjoyed tea and sweets with their family for the afternoon. 12 News talked to one table that consisted of a great grandmother, a grandmother, a mother and a great granddaughter.
Bird watchers flock to Mon County for Mother's Day bird walk
The great grandmother Shirley Austin is 90-years-old. 'I have looked forward to this day. I'm just happy to have them here.'
Along with Sunday being Mother's Day, it is also the first day of National Skilled Nursing Care Week. Sundale will be doing a special event each day throughout the week to celebrate.
