As preparations continue for the upcoming Philippine-Australia Friendship Day celebration, Filipino community leader from Gold Coast, Shirley Nield is encouraging people from all backgrounds to come together and celebrate their cultures through shared experiences.
'We want to share the joy of our culture and also welcome other communities to join in and share theirs,' Nield said. 'This is a celebration of friendship—not just between the Philippines and Australia—but among all nations living here in harmony.'
