Nagarjuna says Rashmika Mandanna has beaten all of them at the box office: ‘She is the one with Rs 2000-3000 crore collections'
The team of Kuberaa, including Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, and Jim Sarbh, were present at the launch of the song 'Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Du' in Mumbai. At the event, Nagarjuna heaped praise on his co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh. He also expressed gratitude for the warm reception he has received in North India.
Talking about his films getting love in the North, Nagarjuna said, 'Right from my first film Shiva or Khuda Gawaa to my dubbed films, all have been accepted so well in the North. I am filled with deep gratitude. This film came to me at a time when I was wondering what to do next. I didn't want to keep doing same roles over and over again. I wanted to work with Shekhar Kammula, so I said yes.'
He went on to praise Jim Sarbh, saying, 'I got to work with the great Jim Sarbh. He is outstanding as the villain. This man is impossible. He put me on my toes and was saying Telugu dialogues even better than me.'
Talking about Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna said she has beaten all of them when it comes to box office collections. 'This girl Rashmika is one powerhouse of talent. She has made a filmography in the last 3 years, which is outstanding. None of us have 2000-3000 crore collections, she is the one. She has beaten all of us,' he added.

Reacting to Nagarjuna's praise and the audience calling her the number one South actress, Rashmika said, 'I am happy where I am today. It's all because of the audience's love. Honestly, I have just started. I don't know what this whole number one situation is, because I am doing films both in Bollywood and South. I don't know what this race is about.'
Kuberaa will release in multiple languages on June 20.
