Special prayers held at temples to mark Op Sindoor's success

and pujas were held in temples under endowment dept across old Mysuru region and Kodagu on Thursday to mark the success of
Operation Sindoor
and for the well-being of
Indian military forces
.Minister for Muzrai Ramalinga Reddy instructed the department to conduct pujas in the temples under its Mysuru city, special pujas, including rudrabhisheka and panchamurtha abhishekha, were held at
Sri Chamundeshwari Temple
atop Chamundi Hills.
"We offered prayers to Goddess Shri Chamundeshwari, seeking strength for our armed forces and soldiers to destroy the enemies," temple chief priest N Shashishekar Dixit told pujas were also held at Sri Srikanteshwara Temple at Nanjangud. Prayers were offered to deities seeking to boost the morale of Indian armed forces in their fight against Pakistani terrorists, officials from the endowment department said as per the directions of the state govt, the special pujas were held.

Special poojas were held at temples located inside the Mysuru Palace premises as Madikeri, special pujas were organised at Omkareshwara Temple and at Talacauvery, the birthplace of Cauvery Temple Committee president Chummi Devaiah prayed for the welfare of the country in facing terrorism and for the grace of Lord Shiva on the Indian military forces to fight against terrorism. In Talacauvery, the in-charge parpathegar, Mahesh, and others prayed, and the archaks performed puja to Cauvery.
