Charlie Sheen's daughter Sami takes aim at actor's past, says they haven't spoken in a year
Charlie Sheen's daughter hasn't spoken to the "Two and a Half Men" star in a year. Sami Sheen took to social media on Tuesday to take aim at her dad's past drug addiction and explain why their relationship took a turn. In a video posted to TikTok, the 21-year-old used audio from Charlie's 2011 viral interview with "20/20" to explain why she hasn't spoken to her dad in a year. "Are there any drugs in the house?" Andrea Canning asked Charlie in the audio clip Sami posted. "If there are, you better find them and give them to me immediately," Charlie told Canning at the time. "No, there are not. Not that I know about, if I know about them, I'll find them and throw them away. It's not a big deal. Oh! Drugs in the house, ah, we're all gonna die!" The text on the video read, "When people wonder why I haven't spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad." "Pretty much sums it up," Sami captioned the video. On Monday, Sami got candid about her relationship with her dad during an appearance on Gia Giudice's podcast, "Casual Chaos." "We haven't spoken on the phone in almost a year," the OnlyFans model said. "And then we haven't texted in a little over six months." "I have no idea if he's still sober," Sami said after claiming the actor was sending her some "crazy stuff" via text. "I honestly hope the stuff he was sending me was because he wasn't sober, because that would at least make it a little better. ... I had to put a stop to it and tell him, 'Do not contact me ever again because this is crazy.'" Denise Richards and Charlie welcomed Sami in 2004. The former couple tied the knot in 2002 and were married for just under three years before Richards filed for divorce in March 2005, when she was pregnant with their second daughter, Lola. During an appearance on the "Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson" podcast last month, Richards recalled the lengths to which she went to shield their daughters from Charlie's concerning behavior at the time. "I actually sheltered the kids almost to a point where, now as they're getting older, they're discovering things, and they were at first getting upset with me, like, 'Why didn't you tell me this?'" she said. The "Drop Dead Gorgeous" actress said her goal was to preserve her daughter's relationship with Sheen and not impose her own emotions toward the situation. "There was a time I didn't know if he was going to live, and I didn't want the girls to ever get to know their dad [from] what they would read," she explained. "I wanted it to be their experience and their relationship. And I also didn't want to put on them my feelings, because that's not fair to them and their relationship with him."

During an appearance on Kate and Oliver Hudson's Sibling Revelry podcast, Liv reflected on the "layers" of emotions she experienced when her mum Bebe Buell, revealed that musician Todd Rundgren was not her biological father. Recalling how her mother shared the news during one of Steven's Aerosmith concerts, she said, 'We sat on a bench at this outdoor amphitheatre and she told me the whole story in the most sincere, beautiful way. I just was there with it and then we went backstage after the show. The first wave was shock.

Liv Tyler found out Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was her biological father at his concert
Liv Tyler found out that Steven Tyler was her biological father in the most rockstar way possible. At the time, Liv believed that her father was fellow musician Todd Rundgren, but Tyler had begun coming around when she was about eight years old. Her mother, Bebe Buell, eventually took her to an Aerosmith concert, where Liv put the pieces together. Liv met her sister, Mia, at the same concert, and the two recalled the moment during an episode of Kate and Oliver Hudson's podcast "Sibling Revelry." Mia, whom Tyler shared with the late Cyrinda Foxe, and Liv met backstage for the first time at around eight and nine years old. "I remember because there were no kids backstage," Mia, 46, said. "So, her and I just played hard that night. And we were at this VIP area, outside of the green rooms, and we were just like, you know, doing our eight- and nine-year-old thing, and this fan lady came up, and she was like, 'Oh my god, you girls are so cute. Are you guys sisters?'" "And we were like, 'Yeah!' And pretended we were sisters." However, at that point in the night, Liv actually already knew that Tyler was her father and that Mia was her sister. Liv recalled watching the concert earlier in the evening from the audience and spotting Mia, who looked exactly like her. She confronted her mother about the look-a-like girl, and Buell confessed. "I looked at my mom, and she just started crying," Liv recalled. "My mom was bawling, and I was like, 'Is Steven my dad?' and she just burst. She took me to a bench, and we sat on a bench at this, like, outdoor amphitheater, and she told me the whole story in the most sincere, beautiful way." According to Liv, the two went backstage after the show – where she officially met Mia for the first time. Mia's mom confirmed the news to her later that evening. However, the families didn't openly talk about the connection until much later. At the time, Buell had been dating musician Todd Rundgren, who Liv believed was her father. Liv recalled that Buell and Rundgren "tried to be together for about two weeks" but "that didn't go well." "I think it's probably still very hard and painful," she told Hudson. "And I don't speak to [Todd] enough. I love him, and I have brothers from him, and I had a whole family with them. But I was a kid, so it was really hard, because he was mad at my mom, and then suddenly Steven was there, and we did a paternity test, and it was positive, and so we moved to New York. I think I was 11 or 12." Liv revealed that they were only allowed to discuss Tyler being her biological father after the positive paternity test. Tyler is a father to four children – Liv and Mia, along with Chelsea and Taj. Tyler fathered Liv with Buell before his marriage to Foxe, who tied the knot with the rocker in 1978. Mia was born 18 months after Liv. After his divorce from Foxe, Tyler married Teresa Barrick in 1988. The two welcomed their daughter Chelsea in 1989. Barrick and Tyler then welcomed their son, Taj, in 1991 before splitting in 2005.

'It Was Literally Like Looking In The Mirror': Liv And Mia Tyler Discovered They Were Sisters After Going To The Same Aerosmith Show, And The Story Is Totally Wild
Sisters Liv and Mia Tyler just appeared on the Sibling Revelry podcast with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, and the story of how they first met is truly something from a movie script. For context, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has four children with three different women: he shares his eldest child, Liv, with Bebe Buell, Mia with his first ex-wife, Cyrinda Foxe, and Chelsea and Taj with his second ex-wife, Teresa Barrick. The four siblings have close relationships today. However, it wasn't until Liv was nearly 10 years old that she discovered she was actually a Tyler and not a Rundgren, as she'd previously been led to believe. First, we need to rewind to sometime in 1976 when Liv's mom, Bebe, was introduced to Steven; the two hooked up, and she got pregnant. Speaking on the latest episode of Kate and Oliver Hudson's podcast, Liv recalled that her mom was in her early 20s at the time and was not comfortable with Steven's drug use, so she decided to leave and raise her baby with her ex, Todd Rundgren. 'I think she got a little bit scared when she realized how much drugs my dad was doing. I think as the story goes: She called Todd and said she was pregnant…and basically, he very courageously and lovingly said, 'This child needs a father, and I will be the father,'' Liv recalled. Todd signed Liv's birth certificate when she was born, and looking back she suggested that there may have been an 'agreement' that she should 'never know' the true identity of her father. So, Liv was born in July 1977 and was raised in Maine, believing that Todd was her biological father. Meanwhile, in 1978, her birth father, Steven, married Cyrinda Foxe, and the couple welcomed their first child in December of that same year. Mia was raised in New Hampshire, and it wasn't for another eight years or so that the sisters met for the first time when their moms brought them to the same Aerosmith concert. 'I remember there were no kids backstage. So we played hard that night. And we were at this VIP area, outside of the green rooms, and we were just like, you know, doing our 8 and 9-year-old thing, and this fan lady came up, and she was like, 'Oh my god, you girls are so cute. Are you guys sisters?' ... And we pretended we were sisters,' Mia remembered, as Liv recalled they 'looked like twins.' Liv said that her mother and Steven were on good terms at this point and that her mom had already indicated to her that she had a sister but that the details were 'so complicated.' 'Throughout the course of that year, [Steven] was around more. I had no idea who he was then. I just thought he was fabulous,' she remembered. Recalling the story of their first meeting, both sisters fought tears. 'Guns N' Roses were opening for Aerosmith,' Liv said. 'We had driven to the gig at a place called Great Woods… I was so excited because I just loved Guns N' Roses. And on the side of the stage was this one standing there.' 'I just remember standing there watching them play, looking and seeing this girl who looked exactly like me. Like, we literally had the same outfit on. We had both had perms, like spiral perms, pink frosty lipstick,' she continued. 'We were both wearing an Aerosmith concert T-shirt with black leggings and Reebok high-top sneakers. I looked, and I was like, Wait, that's me. It was really weird. It was literally like looking in the mirror, seeing your double.' Liv was taken aback by how much Mia looked like her, and when she looked over at her mom, it became obvious that she was emotional, too. 'She just started crying. My mom bawled, and I was like, 'Is Steven my dad?'' she recalled, revealing this was when she finally learned the truth about her family. 'We sat on a bench at an outdoor amphitheater, and she told me the whole story in the most sincere, beautiful way… And then we went backstage after the show there was Mia, and we met for the first time.' Mia and Liv didn't explicitly know they were sisters at this point, although it wasn't long before they had confirmation and the two started sending each other postcards, realizing they had 'so much in common.' And while the discovery was very exciting for the girls, it was equally challenging for Liv to learn that Todd wasn't her biological dad. Speaking about Todd today, she said: 'I think it's probably still very hard and painful, and I don't speak to him enough. I love him. I have brothers from him and I had a whole family with them.' Honestly, someone needs to make a movie about this family. You can listen to Mia and Liv's full appearance on the Sibling Revelry podcast here. Liv Tyler Says It Was ‘Hard and Painful' for Todd Rundgren to Learn Steven Tyler Was Her Biological Dad
Liv Tyler shone a light on how her stepdad Todd Rundgren felt after learning that Steven Tyler was her biological father. Recalling childhood memories during the Monday, April 14, episode of the 'Sibling Revelry' podcast hosted by Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, Liv, 47, detailed how the news impacted her family. After explaining that Steven, 77, forged a friendship with his ex, Liv's mother, Bebe Buell, when Liv was age '8 or 9,' Liv said Steven arranged to meet Buell, 71, at 'one of Todd's shows' in Boston, which was 'very painful for Todd.' (Rundgren, 76, was a member of the bands Nazz and Utopia, and performs as a solo artist.) Liv explained that in learning that Rundgren was not the actress' biological father, she believed that he took the news 'so hard.' Liv Tyler Shares Rare Photos of Her Children Lula and Milo 'I think it's probably still very hard and painful,' Live said. 'I don't speak to him enough, I love him and I have brothers from him and I had a whole family with them. But I was a kid, so it was really hard because he was mad at my mom and then suddenly Steven was there and we did a paternity test and it was positive and so we moved to New York. I think I was 11 or 12.' The Stealing Beauty star added that it wasn't until after she had moved from Maine to New York that she was allowed to discuss who her true father was. Reflecting on the years prior to the news coming out, Liv said that Rundgren was a dedicated father. 'He took care of me as, like, he was dad,' she said before adding that she eventually felt resolved in knowing that she was surrounded by love. 'I felt so much love,' Liv said. 'I was able to soak up the love that I could.' She added later in the podcast, 'I remember sitting there for what felt like three days, but it was probably three hours and just basically coming to this conclusion at the end of like, 'Woah, I have two dads, and all this love and maybe there will be two Christmases. They're … so different and so lovely.' Liv is mother to three children — son, Milo, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Roy Langdon, and son, Sailor, 10, and daughter Lula, 8, whom she shares with ex Dave Gardner — and posted a rare glimpse inside her home life via Instagram in July 2024. Celebrating her daughter's 8th birthday, Liv wrote, 'Lula Rose, 8 years old on the 8th of July (born 8:48 p.m.). Happy happy birthday to our precious angel. You are the brightest light.' The post was accompanied by several family snaps including one of her daughter surrounded by birthday balloons and presents.
