Ata Thambaycha Naay!'s plot details
Ata Thambaycha Naay!, which translates to 'Now, We Won't Stop!' in English, is a heartfelt Marathi drama inspired by a true incident that occurred in 2017. The film follows a group of Class IV employees of the BMC, sanitation workers and other municipal staff, who, under the encouragement of a compassionate officer, decide to enrol in night school to complete their Secondary School Certificate (SSC).
Despite facing societal stigma, long working hours, and the challenges of balancing work and study, these individuals embark on a transformative journey. Their pursuit of education becomes a powerful proof of resilience, dignity, and the unbreakable human spirit. The film portrays their struggles, successes, and the profound impact of education on their lives.
