Koppal add'l DC wants maximum turnout on Yoga Day
Koppal: The ADC Sidrameshwara highlighted the importance of extensive participation in
International Yoga Day
(June 21), calling for effective promotional activities to guarantee significant public engagement.
In a preliminary meeting at the DC's office on Friday regarding the celebrations for the day, he said the event will start at 6.30am on June 21 at the taluk stadium.
This event, jointly organised by the district administration, ZP, district AYUSH department, and several yoga organisations, will include yoga sessions. He directed the officials of the departments of AYUSH, rchool education, PU education, and residential education departments, to ensure good participation from students, public representatives, and community members. The meeting was attended by district AYUSH officer Dr PB Hiregoudar, Parashuram Shettappanavar, Ajjappa Sogalad, Somashekar Biradar, Vitthal Jabagowadar, A. Basavaraj, Dr Gururaj Umachagi, Dr Yamanappa Shirwar, Dr Rajashekar Narinal, Dr Kavita HF, Dr Sharanappa Hydri, and representatives from various departments.
