DMW shuts down Japanese language center in Davao over illegal recruitment

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has ordered the closure of another Japanese language center (JLC) in Davao City due to illegal recruitment activities. The center, Sincere Japanese Skills Academy, Inc., is the fourth JLC closed by the agency in just two weeks. An investigation revealed that Sincere was offering language training programs alongside promises of jobs in Japan. It was found to be working with unlicensed and unauthorized recruitment groups such as the fake Advanced Ability Association (AAA), as well as one licensed agency. According to testimonies from workers who sought help from the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Tokyo, they were charged between Php 3,000 to Php 50,000 for the training. They were also promised jobs as caregivers, food and beverage service crew, or airport ground staff after passing an exam. The closure was carried out under DMW Closure Order No. 14, Series of 2025. Sincere and its officials will be added to the DMW's List of Persons and Entities with a Derogatory Record. They are now facing charges related to illegal recruitment. The DMW is urging other possible victims to come forward and contact the Migrant Workers Protection Bureau through their official Facebook page to receive free legal help and support.

EXCLUSIVE Mom reveals her furious response to homeowner who threatened to shoot her innocent little girl on his doorstep

When a mother found out that a man threatened to shoot her nine-year-old daughter on his doorstep as she innocently sold candy in their neighborhood, she took matters into her own hands and grabbed her gun. Beyond Shabazz, from Tampa, Florida, learned about the horrific threat against her daughter Sincere after Tyler Chambers posted an image of the girl to a community Facebook group on April 14 when she rang his doorbell to sell candy bars. In his unhinged post, Chambers, a white man, wrote: 'Your lucky we weren't home to shoot your a** dumb b****.' It quickly went viral and drew a slew of reactions across the community and country, but when Shabazz saw it her motherly instincts kicked in immediately. The day after her daughter walked up to Chambers' home, Shabazz was at the grocery store when her sister started to text and call her several times. Once she got back home, family members ran outside and informed her that Sincere was viral and 'her face was everywhere.' After seeing the post, Shabazz, in the heat of the moment, grabbed her licensed firearm and made her way over to Chambers' home, she told She soon came to her senses and decided it was best to call the police to take care of the issue. When officers arrived, she made them aware of the gun in her bag and told them that she knew she was 'wrong' for initially reacting like that. Although Chambers posted a screenshot of her daughter to the page, Shabazz saw the video of Sincere approaching his home that day. Shabazz allowed Sincere to have fun outside after school that day with her 11-year-old cousin - something she said was 'normal' for them. She said she knew her daughter would sometimes go around the block selling items, but she wasn't aware of it that day. Shabazz said Sincere got the idea to do so after witnessing girl scout girls do the same. In the clip of Sincere approaching Chambers' door, Shabazz said it was hard to see her daughter because it was blurry, but she clearly heard her curse several times. After being made aware of her daughter's profane language, Shabazz said she took away her devices and had a serious talk with her. Chambers has since deleted the post and deactivated his social media accounts, but before he did so, he alleged that the girl was acting as a 'decoy' for an alleged break-in at his home, but did not provide evidence to support his accusation. He later went on to seemingly explain his actions and choice of words, writing: 'I saw that on my camera and have a wife and 7-month-old at home, which I will protect as you would. 'I was hot when I posted it which is why I deleted it right away I could have handled it a lot different,' Chambers said, adding that he wanted to find the girl's parents 'to have a conversation with them.' He continued: 'But yes I could have handled it a lot different and wanted to apologize but I was trying to protect the family and it was the wrong way.' Shabazz saw his response and told 'I don't have anything to say to him.' Since the vicious attack, the heartbroken mother said her child has not been herself. 'She's not doing too well,' Shabazz said, adding that Sincere has not been the 'fun, easy going child' she normally is. 'She shut all the way down,' the mother continued, adding that she is scared to leave the house because she fears she might be recognized. Shabazz filed a police report against Chambers and is currently working with police, although she felt like officers 'were trying to defend him [Chambers]' when they talked with her about it. She launched a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her family's legal fund. As of Thursday afternoon more than $15,000 was raised. Shabazz also created a petition to get Chambers arrested for his online threat against her daughter. 'Our lives were irrevocably altered when Tyler Chambers brazenly threatened my 9-year-old daughter online, stating in no uncertain terms that he wished harm upon her for simply knocking on his door,' she wrote. More than 1,300 people have signed the petition. Many social media users have called for Chambers to be fired from his job as a general manager at Mister Car Wash in Tampa. The company has received a slew of negative comments online since the incident unfolded. It is unclear if he still works there. contacted the company for comment. Police told Shabazz that Chambers, his wife Cassidy and their seven-month-old child moved out of their home after their address and personal information was shared online following the incident.

Florida man's bloodcurdling threat after he saw black girl, 9, appear on his doorstep selling candy

A white Florida man threatened to shoot a nine-year-old black girl after she appeared on his doorstep selling candy. Tyler Chambers made a disturbing post to a community Facebook group on April 14 after a young girl named Sincere approached his front door in Riverview - a suburb of Tampa - selling candy. He posted an image of Sincere to the page and wrote: 'Your lucky we weren't home to shoot your a** dumb b****.' He has since deleted the threatening post, but it has been shared and posted all over social media as it quickly sparked fierce backlash from people who were left disgusted by his comments about the child. Before deactivating his account, Chambers alleged that the girl was acting as a 'decoy' for an alleged break-in at his home, but did not provide evidence to support his accusation. He later went on to seemingly explain his actions and choice of words, writing: 'I saw that on my camera and have a wife and 7-month-old at home, which I will protect as you would. 'I was hot when I posted it which is why I deleted it right away I could have handled it a lot different,' Chambers said, adding that he wanted to find the girl's parents 'to have a conversation with them.' He continued: 'But yes I could have handled it a lot different and wanted to apologize but I was trying to protect the family and it was the wrong way.' Later, Beyond Shabazz, the mother of the nine-year-old at the center of the incident, took to social media to share her side of the story. Shabazz said her family lives in the same community as Chambers, and on that day, Sincere and her 11-year-old niece went to sell candy around the neighborhood after coming home from school around 4pm. 'I wasn't aware that they were out selling candy. I was home with my 1-year-old and my mother, who has just undergone brain surgery. Usually, when the kids come home, they go outside to play, and I'm only okay with it as long as she takes her older cousins with her,' she added. After learning about what took place, Shabazz said she 'immediately' called the authorities and filed a police report. She also noted that she is not at all interested in having a conversation with Chambers 'because he and his wife thought it would be a good idea to lie publicly.' 'Tyler Chambers and his wife, Cassidy Chambers, stated on social media they were going to hurt my little girl because she knocked on the door,' the furious mother said. She later posted that 'there's nothing wrong' with kids going around the neighborhood to sell candy. 'My kids were in their neighborhoods, not the streets, in broad daylight selling candy. There's nothing wrong with kids going door to door selling candy. 'We have Girl Scouts come to our door selling cookies, and not once did we make them feel uncomfortable or post anything saying such words as what was used towards my daughter. We treat everybody with respect,' Shabazz added. She also shared a video that a neighbor of Chambers sent to her of her daughter knocking on their door and trying to sell candy. In a message between the mom and neighbor, they said Sincere 'was not a threat.' 'I have my ring camera recording and I even went out to speak with her and the other kid with her,' they added. She launched a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her family's legal fund. As of Wednesday afternoon more than $14,000 was raised. 'His horrifying words, "YOU'RE LUCKY WE WEREN'T HOME TO SHOOT YOUR A**, DUMB B****" directed at my little girl, are still ringing in my ears.' 'We must diligently and fervently strive to ensure our children's safety above all. She added: 'Therefore, we call for Tyler Chambers to be arrested and held accountable for his threats against a minor. Justice on this front would send a potent message to all potential offenders.' More than 1,000 people have signed the petition. Many social media users have called for Chambers to be fired from his job as a general manager at Mister Car Wash in Tampa. The company has received a slew of negative comments online since the incident unfolded. It is unclear if he still works there. contacted the company for comment.
