A Powerball ticket sold at Singha Liquors, 27 Market St., Swansea, is the winner of a $1 million prize, according to a press release from the Massachusetts Lottery. It was sold for the Wednesday, May 14, drawing. The winning numbers are 4-10-24-29-53, 4. For its sale of the winning ticket, Singha Liquors will receive a $10,000 bonus. Another Massachusetts store sold a $50,000 Powerball winning ticket for the same drawing. That ticket was sold at Halifax Market & Deli, 337 Plymouth St., Halifax. That store will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale. According to Mass. Lottery, tickets that match the first five numbers drawn win a $1 million prize, while tickets that match four out of five numbers plus the Powerball win a $50,000 prize. To win the jackpot prize, all five winning numbers plus the Powerball number must match the numbers drawn. Mass. Lottery said in the release that Powerball prize winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. The next drawing will be on Saturday night, May 17. The jackpot for Saturday night's Powerball drawing is an estimated $123 million. Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be purchased until 9:50 p.m. on Saturday. Winning $1 million Powerball ticket sold in Massachusetts
Someone in Massachusetts won a $1 million lottery prize during Wednesday night's multi-state Powerball drawing. The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing held on May 14 were 4, 10, 24, 29, 53 and Powerball number: 4. The $1 million ticket sold in Massachusetts — which matched all numbers drawn except the Powerball — was bought in Swansea at a shop called Singha Liquors. Additionally, two other $1 million and three $100,000 prizes were won or claimed in the state on Wednesday. One of the $1 million prizes was claimed from a scratch ticket game called '$4,000,000 Cash King Doubler.' The winning ticket was bought in Hyde Park at Players Cafe. The other $1 million prize was from the 'Triple 777″ scratch ticket game, and the ticket was sold at Seven Star Liquors in Southbridge. Two of the three $100,000 prizes won were from the daily 'Mass Cash' drawing. The winning numbers from the May 14 drawing were 4, 8, 10, 18 and 23. One of the winning 'Mass Cash' tickets was sold at The Country Store in Foxborough, while the other was sold at a 7-Eleven in Lawrence. The third $100,000 prize claimed was from a winning '300X' scratch ticket sold at Cape Food Mart in Hyannis. Overall, at least 520 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including 17 in Springfield, nine in Worcester and 56 in Boston. The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600. The two largest lottery prizes won so far in 2025 were each worth $15 million.
