Alex Cooper's childhood home in Pennsylvania was sold five months after the Call Her Daddy host revealed she bought a house for her parents, in Los Angeles, according to public records viewed by PEOPLE.
The East Coast property previously owned by Cooper's parents, Bryan and Laurie Cooper, was sold for $780,000 in May, per the records. It has four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Cooper grew up in the Pennsylvania home with her parents and siblings, sister Kathryn and brother Grant, until she moved to Massachusetts to attend Boston University on a full-ride soccer scholarship.
In December 2024, the podcast host announced that she bought her mom and dad a home situated close to her Los Angeles residency during an episode of Call Her Daddy, and broke down the emotional moment she approached them with the idea.
"To be able to go to my parents this past summer ... and be like, 'I want to buy you guys a house and I want to do this for you. And I'm so excited to be able to do this for you, and I want nothing in return," she said during a Christmas Day installment of the podcast.
Cooper, who said she discussed the idea with her parents alongside her husband Matt Kaplan, explained that she hoped for nothing more than their happiness in exchange for the home — and perhaps, an extra hand should they have a baby in the future.
"I just want your happiness and I want you guys to enjoy it and thrive and maybe babysit sometimes if I have kids,' " Cooper recalled of their conversation. "It's such a cool feeling."
The media mogul recalled the emotional moment, revealing that their conversation made them all cry. She said it "meant so much" to her, especially being that parents supported her and her goals since childhood.
"My mom and dad sacrificed every single f------ day hauling me to different counties and getting on flights and taking me to soccer tournaments and taking me to private training sessions and taking me everywhere I wanted to go," she said.
"It all led me to be able to do what I love for a living, and I literally wouldn't be here without them," the influencer continued. "Buying them a house is like the least I could f------ do, because they sacrificed financially, emotionally."
She added, "They sacrificed with my other siblings in moments for me. So it feels really, really, really f------ insane and incredible that I get to do this."
In June 2022, the Los Angeles Times reported that Cooper's annual salary was $20 million, making her the highest-paid female podcaster on Spotify.
Three years later, the podcast host signed a $125 million three-year deal with SiriusXM in August 2024, bringing Call Her Daddy and The Unwell Network to the radio giant.
