Tamil actor Suriya has started shooting for his new film, tentatively titled 'Suriya 46', which is being directed by Venky Atluri of 'Lucky Bhaskar' fame. The makers announced the update on their social media along with a poster featuring Suriya. The film also stars Mamitha Baiju of 'Premalu' fame alongside an X post by Sithara Entertainments, the production house backing the film, the caption read, 'The first step towards celebration, emotion and entertainment. The film is being produced by Naga Vamsi under the banner Sithara Atluri's 'Lucky Bhaskar' was a superhit at the box office upon its release in October 2024, grossing over Rs 110 crore at the worldwide box office. The film featured Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles.
