Scots author lets slip rude Glaswegian remark live on Loose Women as panel forced to apologise
Loose Women's Kaye Adams was forced to interject after Scottish author Sophie Gravia made the explicit comment while talking about her dating experiences.
During Thursday's installment of Loose Women, host Kaye Adams was caught off guard when Scots author Sophie Gravia made a very rude Glaswegian comment live on air which raised a few eyebrows. Christine McGuinness and her pal Sophie joined the ITV panel to discuss their new BBC Sounds podcast, Situationships with Sophie and Christine, where they issue advice on all types of romantic issues, share juicy dating stories from listeners and have their say on situationship dilemmas each week.
Listeners are taken on an emotional whirlwind journey ranging from hilarious to downright bizarre dating tales. Sophie and Christine also promise no-holds-barred counsel and offer a peek into their own personal anecdotes, balancing the chaos of romance, raising kids, and managing their professional lives.
The Loose Women episode, starring panellists Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, and Oti Mabuse saw the duo recount a few of their own personal dating stories. Sophie, who has won awards for her brilliant light hearted romance novels, shared a hilarious cringe worthy moment from her dating days as a single parent.
However, an unexpectedly graphic detail from Sophie while retelling the story forced Kaye to quickly interject with an apology amidst the roars of laughter, the Express reports.
Sophie recounted how she had walked in on her date completely "b****ck" naked, leaving both the panellists and the audience in fits of laughter.
The Scots author's story left the Loose Women stars in coughing fits and with Nadia making faces.
Sophie recalled: "I went to the bathroom at his house, walked out of the bathroom, opened the living room door, he was b****ck naked."
Kaye swiftly interjected to say: "I just want to say that expression about being naked is a very well-known Glasgow phrase but sometimes people don't like it so I do apologise if you didn't like it."
Meanwhile, Paddy McGuinness' ex Christine, shared details following her revelation of dating both men and women.
Addressing her current relationship status, Christine explained she did not want to put a label on her sexuality.
She explained her perspective to the panel: "I feel people's energy, that's important to me, I have to spend a lot of time with someone before I figure out if I want to carry on or not (seeing them)."
Christine, 37, and Paddy, 51, went their separate ways in 2022 after 11 years of marriage.

The pair have three children, twins Leo and Penelope, 13, and youngest daughter Felicity, 10, who have all been diagnosed with autism.
Christine still lives with the comedian for the sake of their children and Paddy is said to be back in the dating pool.
However, the model has issued one strict house rule that he must abide by and that is to never bring women home.
