Academic achievers felicitated at technology institute
Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology organised a function recently to felicitate academic achievers.
'FRUITION 25' saw 505 campus-placed students receive an aggregate of 1,076 offer letters from 56 reputed companies.
Sivasankari Yogesh, General Manager - Human Resources and HR Head - AI Cloud, Tata Consultancy Services, Chennai, addressed the gathering and distributed offer letters to the placed students and felicitated faculty members and students for their academic achievements.
In her speech, she urged candidates to take on responsibilities that others might avoid, highlighting the power of saying 'yes' to opportunities as a path to growth. She inspired the students to rise above the 'Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)' and the 'Panic of Missing Out (POMO)', encouraging them to stay focused, resilient, and committed to their long-term success in the ever-evolving professional world.
Chancellor, Takshashila University, Tindivanam and CMD SMVE Trust, in his presidential address, encouraged the candidates to make the most of the opportunities coming their way. Emphasising the importance of dedication and perseverance, he advised the students to continuously hone their skills to effectively navigate the challenges of the modern workplace.
