Where to Eat & Drink Near Larger Nashville Music Venues

Share with your friends! Pinterest LinkedIn Email Flipboard Reddit Nashville music venues are aplenty. And as someone who frequents many live shows in and around Nashville, I've learned that the right pre- or post-concert spot can totally elevate my experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite before doors open or looking to keep the night going after the encore, here are some of my favorite hangouts near the city's larger music venues. Plus, most of these picks are within walking distance or just a short drive from the venue! Note: Prefer shows with a more low-key, club-like vibe? Stay tuned for a follow-up article featuring some of Music City's smaller (but equally iconic) venues and the best spots to pair with them. Bridgestone Arena + Ryman Auditorium Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman Auditorium are just steps apart, so many of these picks work for either venue. Choose based on your mood — or your artist's vibe. PRE-SHOW BITES Assembly Food Hall: For a quick and easy grab-and-go option, Assembly Food Hall offers something for all cravings. You'll find outposts for popular eateries like The Pharmacy, Prince's Hot Chicken, and Thai Esane. Bonus: The food hall often hosts local songwriters, so you might even catch some live music before your main event. Known for its wine-on-tap concept, Sixty Vines sits above Assembly Food Hall and serves delicious pasta and Neapolitan-style pizzas. It's more of a fine-dining restaurant, and it doesn't disappoint. Entrées include everything from shrimp and grits to fried cornmeal catfish and wasabi salmon. Pin POST-SHOW VIBES Lower Broadway: While not necessarily a ground-breaking recommendation, Lower Broadway bars are just a stone's throw from both Bridgestone and the Ryman. On the rare occasion I venture onto Broadway, a few of my favorite stops include Legends Corner, Robert's Western World, and Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa. This restaurant from Canada just opened a big new spot in Miami Worldcenter

Yet another big, new restaurant has opened at Miami Worldcenter. This time it's Earls from Earls Restaurant Group based in Vancouver, British Colombia, which serves modern American cuisine. The restaurant is located a few doors down from Sixty Vines at Miami Worldcenter, the $6 billion, 27-acre mixed-use development of retail and residential units in downtown Miami. The restaurant has 70 locations, 11 of them in the United States, and recently opened a location on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. There's also a location at the Dadeland Mall in Kendall. Mark Hladik, president of Earls Restaurant Group, said the group was looking forward to serving downtown Miami. 'Our vision was to create a beautiful space with a sense of place and a completely unique design tailored to the greater Miami community and downtown Miami,' he said in a statement. It's a big place to fill. All Earls locations are designed to be unique, including this one, which seats 224 diners and spans 8,400 square feet, with a 2,000-square-foot patio that seats 110. The design involves a fair amount of wood and plants and is decorated with sculptural art from American and South American artists. The restaurant's centerpiece is an island bar with a stone countertop and a wood canopy. The menu features the usual suspects: steaks and seafood towers, and dishes like Korean ribs, Calabrian pasta, wagyu beef oshi press and a Tomahawk maple-glazed pork chop. Nitin Motwani, managing partner of Miami Worldcenter Associates, said Earls was a good addition to the development. 'As a brand known for its vibrant energy and elevated dining experience, Earls is a perfect addition to our growing mix of world-class destinations,' he said in a statement. 'Its arrival marks another exciting milestone in our vision of creating a true city within a city — one that continues to elevate downtown Miami as a dynamic, walkable and connected urban core.' Most recently, the Worldcenter welcomed Maple & Ash, a luxury steakhouse from Chicago. Coming soon is the Italian restaurant Serafina from New York.
