Borneo Flora Festival 2025 Set To Bloom With Royal Presence, Regional Enthusiasm
LABUAN, June 28 (Bernama) -- The upcoming Borneo Flora Festival (BFF) 2025, scheduled to take place from July 26 to 30 in this island is poised to draw an overwhelming response from across Borneo Island, including Kalimantan, Indonesia and Brunei, thanks to a strong regional promotional drive and anticipated royal attendance.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa said Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia is expected to grace the floral extravaganza, which is anticipated to become one of the island's most vibrant tourism highlights of the year.
Speaking to reporters after officiating the launch of the Skimming of Interim Report on Agriculture Census in the Federal Territories for Year 2024 (Peluncuran Laporan Interim Banci Pertanian 2024 Wilayah Persekutuan) at Dorsett Grand Labuan today, Dr Zaliha said the event is projected to attract up to 50,000 visitors throughout the five-day celebration, with crowds expected from Sabah, Sarawak, Peninsular Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia.
