Some say you have to stop eating all of the sweet treats and junk food when you are trying to lose weight, but moderation is key to weight loss. There are many sweet, salty, and savory treats that you can enjoy in place of your favorite full sugar treats. Denying yourself on a weight loss journey can cause you to fail at your goals rather than succeed. Creative ways to get your work out in Instead of choosing your normal full fat or full sure ice cream, try choosing a lower calorie ice cream like Halo Top, Yasso, Skinny Cow, and many store brand low sugar options. Try using a higher protein Greek yogurt in place of sour cream or in your everyday yogurt bowls or parfaits. There are many options of low calorie high protein yogurt that taste good and will keep you on track with your fitness goals. Instead of buying the normal tortillas, choose a low carb or high protein option from your local grocery stores. This way you can still enjoy a taco or wrap without having to sacrifice everything at the of the day. If you find yourself reaching for a candy bar most afternoons, swap to a protein bar like Barebells, Built Puff Bars, Quest Bars, or many others. These will cure your sweet tooth while helping you reach your daily protein goal. For those salty or savory lovers, there are many lower calorie, higher protein chip options like Quest chips, PopCoroners, and Legendary chips. Best ways to track your weight loss journey It is all about finding ways to incorporate the foods you love while adding in the foods you aren't used to eating.
