Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico announces new flight routes to start in June between Mexico, US
Aeromexico and Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines announced an expansion of flights to and from Mexico to the United States starting in June.
According to the airlines, there will be two new routes beginning on June 5.
'Aeromexico will begin daily service on the Mexico City - Philadelphia and San Luis Potosi - Atlanta routes, expanding travel options for customers,' the airlines said in a statement.
They said that would bring the number of total destinations between the United States and Mexico to 26 across 57 routes and a daily joint operation of 90 flights.

An eight-year-old joint cooperation agreement between the airlines 'celebrated significant growth in 2024″ and added 28 new scheduled and seasonal routes, the companies said.
Expanding this partnership in 2025 will 'continue this trajectory' and give customers more ways to travel between the U.S. and Mexico.
'Philadelphia is the largest U.S. market currently without direct service to Mexico City, joins Aeromexico's portfolio after the succesful launch of other Northeastern US routes in 2024: Boston, Newark, and Washington D.C.,' Aeromexico said.
Flights for the Philadelphia route will be on a Boeing 737 and include personal screens, Wi-Fi connections for purchase and the Sky Interior lighting system.
For flights from San Luis Potosi to Atlanta, flights will be on Embraer 190 aircraft and will be a 'crucial role as a business connection, especially for San Luis Potosi's thriving automotive industry.'
