Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price: Premier League Darts semi-final score and updates

Latest updates Luke Slater live updates 29 May 2025 7:50pm 7:50PM Littler 6 Price 6 (best of 19) Littler not really pressuring Price's throw here. Price will have a dart at D20 on 100 but busts by going in D15! Right house, wrong bed... Littler on 80 gets one at tops. Price goes at 100 again but will not get a dart this time, after failign to find a treble with his first two darts. Littler hits D5 to break throw and another chance slips through Price's hands. A level game. 7:43PM Stats after 10 legs Averages Littler 100.58 Price 99.31 Checkout percentage Littler 28.57 (4/14) Price 42.86 (6/14) 140s Littler 11 Price 12 180s Littler 1 Price 3 High checkout Littler 127 Price 132 7:42PM Littler 4 Price 6 (best of 19) Has Price just let Littler in there? It would have been another break of throw. He still leads by one and by two if he can hold his throw in this 10th leg. He will have 125 when he comes back, with Littler on 183 – not a finish. Price misses tops but will come back as Littler gets himself down to 83. 7:40PM Littler 4 Price 5 (best of 19) Nerves from Littler? Three darts at tops and he misses them all with Price on 60. But Price messes up his chance to go 6-3 up... 20 plays 20. Littler snags it first dart. 7:38PM Littler 3 Price 5 (best of 19) Price holds throw with the Hollywood finish! Bull, bull, D16 for a 132 checkout and now a two-leg lead for Price... PERFECT FROM PRICE! 👌 — Sky Sports Darts (@SkySportsDarts) May 29, 2025 Littler looking on a little concerned, but focused. 7:38PM Littler 3 Price 4 (best of 19) Littler leaves himself on tops with Price on 183. A little bit of pressure tells, though, by the time he returns as Littler misses three darts at it, with Price now on 48. Price has two darts at 40 and does it in two! The Welshman breaks throw again to retake the lead. Lots of breaks of throw going on here. Unexpected with players of this quality. 7:36PM Littler 3 Price 3 (best of 19) Price in a good rhythm now... Littler less so, though still not playing too badly. Does he ever? Price, on 40... looks to be on the verge of going 4-2 ahead but a 128 finish from Littler levels the game! 7:34PM Littler 2 Price 3 (best of 19) A 180 from Price leaves him on D14. First dart inside, second dart inside and that means Littler will be coming back on 110. He can't take it out... but Price does to retake the lead. 7:32PM Littler 2 Price 2 (best of 19) Price on 61, Littler in the 50s... Price gets one dart at tops and gets it to hold throw. He needed that.

Luke Littler delights in goading Leeds crowd during Premier League win

The world champion was given a hostile reception at the First Direct Arena owing to his Manchester United allegiance. He was booed on to stage and the fans, who have been celebrating their city's football club winning the Championship, also whistled when he was throwing at doubles. But he gave as good as he got, mocking the crowd with pretend crying after winning a leg on his way to a 6-4 triumph over Aspinall. Luke Littler gives the crowd the CRYBABY sign after a checkout 😅😂 — Sky Sports Darts (@SkySportsDarts) May 8, 2025 It should have been the Leeds fans who had the last laugh, though, as Littler was lucky to escape with victory. Aspinall, needing the win to boost his chances of finishing in the top four, took out a 164 and 112 checkout to lead 4-3 but then missed nine darts at a double over the next two legs to hand Littler control. The 18-year-old did not hesitate, winning the final three legs to set up a semi-final meeting with Gerwyn Price later on Thursday night. Price survived two match darts to beat Rob Cross 6-5 and boost his play-off chances.

Man United fan Luke Littler hits back at Leeds boo boys during Premier League Darts after receiving hostile reception in the city

Luke Littler hilariously mocked the Premier League Darts crowd in Leeds after they booed him on night 14 of the season. The world champion went into the night way out in front at the top of the table as he looks to retain his title at the O2 Arena in three weeks' time. Having already qualified for the play-offs, he had made it clear that he is targeting top spot and the first semi-final of finals night so he has extra time to prepare for a potential final later on. To do so, he would need to finish first in the league stage again, and he remained on course to do that with his 11th win in a row over Nathan Aspinall. But it wasn't necessarily his darts that drew the attention on the night - rather his actions on stage as the 18-year-old continues to grow in confidence as he takes the word of darts by storm. And he drew laughs from some of the crowd - and boos from others - inside the First Direct Arena - as he hit back at being booed while he made his entrance. Luke Littler gives the crowd the CRYBABY sign after a checkout 😅😂 — Sky Sports Darts (@SkySportsDarts) May 8, 2025 Littler wasn't expecting the best reaction in Leeds, with the teenager an avid Manchester United fan - one of Leeds' rivals. And he took in the response to his name being announced for his quarter-final match against Aspinall, appearing to welcome the hostile reception. When he got on stage the boos continued, with the crowd firmly behind Aspinall, who is chasing a top-four spot himself. But towards the end of the game, Littler began to take control and he pinned his ever-reliable double 10 to make it 4-4 after Aspinall had missed a number of darts at double to go 5-3 up in a race to six. And as the fans booed, Littler made a crying motion, seemingly poking fun at those in attendance who were upset at his success. Then, after turning back to the board, he turned around one more time, pulling a sad face - though it would later backfire when he fluffed a leg and pointed to himself and mimicked a crying gesture. He said on his actions ahead of the night: 'It depends on how the fans react. 'I don't want to say I have secured top spot yet in the Premier League. But like the thing in Newcastle and Liverpool, I will always give it back to them. 'I will just relax these next few weeks. I don't have to perform to any high standard. Just cruise my way into the O2. 'Am I dangerous because I'm relaxed? We will have to see. Last year I secured top spot with quite a few weeks left. Right now, I have not secured it mathematically.' Earlier in the night, a member of the public secured a trip to Las Vegas after they won the prize in BetMGM 's Viva Darts Vegas competition. The competition sees three entrants, selected at random, take to the oche and attempt to score 100 points or more in six darts ahead of the night's action and Anthony Bray from Leeds was the second to do it, securing a three-night stay in Vegas.
