Simone Ashley turned heads in a gold Balmain ensemble at the F1: The Movie premiere in London. It was one of two metallic looks she wore that night.
The actress arrived on the Leicester Square red carpet in a woven dress from Balmain's fall/winter 2025 collection that featured a halter neckline, sculpted bodice, and sharply flared peplum. Ashley kept the palette consistent with strappy metallic sandals, a matching watch, and Skydiamond hoops and ring.
Later that night, Ashley stepped out at the F1 after-party at NoMad London. She wore a second metallic statement look: a gray ruched minidress fastened at the neck with gold hardware. A gold clutch and heels completed the ensemble.
Her appearance follows reports that her role was significantly reduced in the racing drama. Director Joseph Kosinski confirmed the change to People, explaining that a few storylines 'ultimately didn't make [it] into the final cut.' He added, 'Simone, she's an incredible talent, incredible actress, incredible singer, and I would love to work with her again.'
Ashley addressed her feelings on the film after its U.K. premiere, writing on Instagram, 'Last night at the F1 premiere in my hometown ✨ It was a joy to reunite with the cast and crew, and to celebrate—I couldn't have been prouder watching everyone shine on screen and on the carpet, all while wearing my couture @balmain gown that made me feel just as radiant. I've come away with friendships and memories I'll treasure forever. 💛 Go see this movie!—it's a must see ride and speed like you've never seen before! 🏎️'
