We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. And if you're old enough to search "trending cleaning products" you are going to love this post. 1. A daily planner to help you track school schedules, chores, and even your water intake! Thanks, A-types, for finding a way to keep the house clean *and* stay a planner. Amazon Each planner comes with 50 tear-off sheets the size of a standard piece of paper. Promising review:"Bought this last week. Love the set up. I can begin in the morning and then reflect at night. It covers everything from what you're grateful for to what you ate that day. I will definitely be using these for a long time!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!" — Chloe Get it from Amazon for $9.99. 2. A pumice cleaning stone for saving your toilet bowl from a bleak existence. Over 17,000 reviewers have given this a 5-star rating for getting rid of their harsh hard water stains from rust, lime, and calcium — sans harsh chemicals. Promising review:"I have very hard water that leaves hard-water buildup and nasty stains. It's embarrassing to have guests over because the toilets are so gross! I have tried so many products and cleaning solutions — from natural essential oils to harsh chemicals so strong I was lightheaded for the rest of the day. Well, I tried out this pumice stone after reading about it in a BuzzFeed article, and honestly the hype is real! It does take some elbow grease, but the after picture is from only 20 minutes of scrubbing, light enough that I didn't break a sweat! The stone does get used up, but I think this one should last me a couple years at least. So if you have embarrassing toilets, try this!" — Stephanie Ray Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (also available in a pack of two and four). 3. A touch-up paint pen that'll soothe your soul if that one scuff mark on your wall has been MOCKING you for weeks now. Yes, trying to put up a shelf on your own ended in disaster. Thank you for reminding me, scuff mark! Slobproof is a woman-owned small business. Promising reviews:"Works great, no mess! This was easy to use to touch up our son's bedroom corner walls." — Elizabeth "Love this — absolutely perfect for touchin' up little spots that need touchin' up. I have several sets filled with different paints, and so far, they've stayed usable without the paint drying out. I rinse the brush really well after each use (latex paints) and recap it. It would be nice if the manufacturer put an area on the pen where you could easily label the paint info, but I use a permanent marker, and it works okay." — Hooked on AMZN! Get a pack of two from Amazon for $15.99 (available in two pack sizes). 4. A ChomChom pet hair remover roller — this is gonna pick up fur and lock it inside the roller, making cleanup a breeze. Plus, it doesn't lose its effectiveness with heavy use. We love our pets but woof, shedding in the springtime is their greatest skill. Promising review:"I have a golden retriever and the shedding is out of control. My fabric sofa is constantly covered in hair and I finally decided to try this after reading an article about popular TikTok products. The reviews do not lie, this thing works magic!! I wish I had taken a before and after picture because the difference is noticeable. I watched the video tutorial before I tried it to ensure I was using it properly and everything he says is true, you do really have to put your arm to work with vigorous back and forth movement! However I find it's a great arm workout and it works wonders." — Joanne Ertel Get it from Amazon for $23.99+ (available in four colors). 5. A bottle of Better Life all-natural tile and tub cleaner that'll banish soap scum, mold, mildew, rust, and hard-water stains from tired, worn-down tiles. Promising review: "I have an old shower/bathtub. I tried name-brand shower cleaners and bleach to try and clean the soap scum off the tiles and tub. I had no luck and I would cough and get sick because of how strong the smell was. I thought I would try this to save my lungs. I sprayed my entire shower and left it for about 15 minutes. I came back and rinsed off the walls and they were shiny! I've never had such a clean shower. The smell is amazing and subtle. All I smell is tea tree and it didn't affect me at all. The price is also a good deal since the bottle is pretty large. It came with the sprayer separate and the bottle sealed so it wouldn't leak in the box. I highly recommend this." — Amber Erwin Get a pack of two from Amazon for $21.43. 6. A set of reusable microfiber mop pads so you don't have to worry about running out of disposable pads right when you need them most. Save some time and money with these extra-thick microfiber versions! They can be used wet or dry and on basically every type of flooring and even drywall if you're so inclined. Since they can be thrown in the wash, one microfiber pad can replace up to 100 single-use pads. Promising review: "Just used these for the first time with my Swiffer WetJet, and I gotta say I am impressed! Went on easily and cleaned the floors easily! I always hated the one-time-use pads and never felt like they got my floor clean. This review is NOT sponsored, I bought these with my own money because I'm sick of single-use products. Seriously, buy these now!!!" — AKGross Get a set of two from Amazon for $10.95. 7. A silverware cubby for upgrading your currently cluttered utensil drawer. This space-saving solution practically flat packs your flatware. I use this in my kitchen! I have to hasn't exaaactly helped with organization. What it *has* done is created a neat and orderly spot for my up a ton of extra drawer space for my unruly stash of pens, bouillon cubes, drink flavor packets, and the like. Long story short — I recommend this for tidy and messy folks alike! Get it from Amazon for $8.98+ (available in two sizes). 8. A Bissell multipurpose carpet and upholstery cleaner — this spiffy (and portable!) system uses warm water and a special formula to save the day when slips turn into spills, which turn into stains. Each cleaner comes with a trial size of Bissell's Spot & Stain Formula, which is also available on Amazon for $16.99! Promising review: "I have four expensive fabric-covered chairs in my kitchen dining area that were long overdue to be cleaned and were so heavily soiled that I wasn't sure even a good cleaning would help. I researched all the available portable cleaning machines and this seemed to be the one with the best ratings and recommendations. I was amazed at the results when I used it on the chairs. Years of ground-in dirt and grime came out easily, and when I looked at the solution that was vacuumed out it was the color of dark chocolate. I did a second cleaning and then used a spray bottle to apply clean water to rinse. Honestly, the chairs looked so good even my son was so impressed he bought one. I want to add that I am very close to eighty. and I had no problems operating it. I highly recommend it, and I rate it five stars plus!" — Kathleen Petro Get it from Amazon for $99.98+ (available in three versions). 9. A jar of The Pink Stuff (the internet's favorite cleaning product) that'll clean everything from pots and pans to blotches in your bathtub. Move over firefighters, I want a calendar of THIS sexy stuff and its shiny results. Promising review:"I used this product for my stove because it's one thing I dislike cleaning. I have used different degreaser sprays and they all are so toxic and don't work for me. The Magic Eraser was okay but I used several at a time and I had to scrub so hard. But this product oh my goodness, legit a miracle. It doesn't have any type of smell. I put the paste on a cloth, clean the area then wipe it off with a damp cloth and voilà, magic!" — May Get it from Amazon for $5.29. 10. A TBH *too* nice Tineco 2-in-1 cordless vacuum and mop created to both vacuum and mop at the same time. Unlike our old dummy mops, this robot has a separate tank that stores the dirty water, and it retains 90% of the stuff, so your floors will be clean and dry in just minutes. It also self-propels so you just need to steer, no hard pushing! Promising review: "I confess I can be a lackadaisical housekeeper, which is problematic since my new dog sheds enough in a week for me to build an entirely new dog. What's worse, vacuuming doesn't pick up a lot of his fur. This Tineco is magic, though. Not only does it pick everything up (dust, fur, hair, crumbs, Nature's Miracle, errant Cheerios), but because the wheels are motorized, vacuuming/mopping is a breeze. I get exhausted using my canister vac, but this thing is a blast to use. Here is what I've learned: I always use the 'extra water' feature, which seems to work better. I clean the dirty water holder and parts every time I empty it, and I run the self-clean cycle after every second emptying session. This means I can do my primary bath and my 10x12 TV room before self-cleaning and recharging for a little bit. Or I can do my kitchen, entryway, and hall before self-cleaning, or my living room. In other words, you're not going to do your whole house on one battery charge or without running the self-cleaning feature several times. Of course, the reason you have to run the self-cleaning so often is because this little beauty is picking up So. Much. Stuff. It's magic. If it broke tomorrow (and I don't think it will break for a very long time), I would buy another." — Tsippi Get it from Amazon for $199+ (available in four styles). 11. A set of microfiber cloths that'll provide a 100% lint- and streak-free finish, because what's the point of cleaning clear surfaces if you're stuck with streaks after all your hard work? Thanks to these, that'll never be the case again. They're great for windows or any glassware, too! Promising review: "I couldn't get my windows clean using cleaning solution, newsprint, and a lot of elbow grease. There were always streaks and dirt left behind. Enter these things. One quick cleaning, and I do mean quick, and my windows are now cleaner than any windows I've ever cleaned. It's simply amazing. We were all standing around in utter shock and delight before running around trying the cloths on other stuff: the TV, the picture glass, etc. I know it sounds corny, but I couldn't wait to get up this morning, because I woke up in the middle of the night excitedly thinking about trying it on the car today. They are truly, truly amazing." — Xena the Warrior Mama Get a pack of eight from Amazon for $15.98. 12. A fabric defuzzer is gonna clean up sweaters, sofas, and other aging fabrics that have been a real ~pill~ lately. The battery-operated model requires two AA batteries, not included. Promising review:"Okay, I don't normally rave about things like this. I bought this on a whim in a last attempt to save my favorite duvet cover. The pills had gotten to the point where it was seriously uncomfortable to sleep with them getting all up in my leg space. I thought I was going to have to get a new duvet cover entirely. Along came this lil' baby. Not only is my duvet cover basically brand new, but I have found a new hobby. I'm depilling everything. Sweatshirts, leggings, blankets, socks, anything that looks like it needs some love. It does the job quickly and leaves everything looking fresh. Hi, I'm obsessed. I can't stop. I should send this back. I've started asking if my neighbors need anything depilled. I'm going to buy one of these for everyone in my life. Everyone needs to own this. Take it away from me." — Sydney Jensen Get it from Amazon for $9.29+ (available in four colors and two styles). 13. A customizable set of plastic storage cubes that'll snap together and create a perfect storage masterpiece, no matter where you place them. Promising review:"I used to have a two-tier metal rack that was nowhere near enough storage space and there were always shoes all over the floor. I put this together in a rather short while and now my closet is clean! Totally love this because it is so spacious and you can build it in any shape you want." — Mama D Get a 16-cube set on sale from Amazon for $35.99+ (available in two sizes and three colors). 14. An over-the-door organizer with clear pockets sure to make finding things (whether in your pantry, garage, or bathroom) as easy as it is to put them back in their place — keep that tidy flow going! Promising review:"Great for organizing the pantry, craft rooms, and bathrooms. Finally have a way to keep all the junk off my counters. The pockets are huge, the hooks leave a low profile (so no issue with scratching), and it seems very sturdy for holding all my junk so far (it's mostly holding way too many hair products in my bathroom at the moment). I love that this is clear so you can see everything." — Breanna Get it from Amazon for $14.87 (for a two-pack). 15. The CovoBox is made from reclaimed books and sustainable wood. BTW — Covogoods is a small family-owned business creating home decor in Utah! Promising review:"I'm pretty sure I've never loved a purchase from Amazon as much as I love this one. This product is EXTREMELY well made and very unique. Plus, it does the job of hiding the ugly routers and cords. And the customer service was great and responsive. I was a little hesitant to spend the money on this but after years of living with the husband's pile of technology, the money was well spent!" — AmazonEmme Get it from Covogoods on Amazon Handmade for $29+ (available in customizable sizes and colors). 16. A hanger stacker for keeping you from making a mess if you like to hang onto hangers. Promising review:"I grew tired of throwing my empty hangers into a pile in my closet. They would get all tangled up and really frustrated the heck out of me every time I had to put away clothes! This hanger stacker seemed like an easy solution and boy, was I right! It assembles really easily (just two screws and an Allen wrench) and it is good at keeping my hangers organized. Buy one — you won't regret it!" — Bubbles456 Get it from Amazon for $27.56. 17. A clever storage cube so you can keep 96 pens, pencils, markers, brushes, and other tiny tools upright and organized. Promising review:"I love everything about this. It's perfect for my desk. I'm an artist, and I bought two for all my markers. It's lightweight, very classy-looking, and the price is great. I put one on each end of my desk. I'm not always gentle with my boots and I thought I had ruined them the other day (worn out color, scuffs all over), but I cleaned the muck off, gave them a brushing, then applied this leather honey and after letting it sit, my boots look almost like the day I bought them! It keeps the leather supple and restores color. You only need to use a small amount per use!" — David H Get it from Amazon for $16.99+ (available in three sizes). 19. A sock and underwear organizer to make sure your ~drawers~ are organized. The set includes four bins: a six-cell, eight-cell, seven-cell (ideal for bras), and 24-cell (ideal for socks). Promising review:"I LOVE LOVE LOVE these organizers!! I almost did not purchase them due to the reviews saying that larger than a C-cup would not fit into the bra organizer. At just $15 for four organizers I took my chances and ordered two sets of four. I figured, worst case scenario I would have to cut the dividers out of the bra organizers. I wear a 32DD and the bras fit beautifully in the organizers. I am so glad I took the chance and did not listen to the reviews. I would have missed out on the best cheapest organizers I have ever found. I ordered another set for tank tops and other extras I did not think of before. I will also order my boyfriend the brown ones for his drawers. Great product for a great price!" — Elizabeth L. Blackwell Get a four-pack from Amazon for $13.97 (available in seven colors). 20. A 10-piece set of drawer organizers so that even the hidden parts of your house look like perfection. Promising review:"I needed to organize all the stuff that ends up in the bathroom vanity cabinet. These were perfect in every way. Being clear it is easy to see what is in each bin. Assorted sizes made it easy to sort out what I had and make best use of the space. The bins are beautifully made and look great on a shelf, in a drawer, in a cabinet, or even on the countertop. I would definitely buy again and have already suggested them to my friends. A cabinet door organizer so your awkwardly shaped plastic wrap and cutting boards won't get left out when your kids can't find an obvious place to put them. Promising review:"This organizer is so useful! I recently moved and ended up with a much smaller kitchen, so I've been doing everything I can to make sure there's a place for everything and no wasted space. Luckily, I have pretty wide cabinets, so this works out perfectly. I have one holding my cutting boards (four standard plastic boards) and another holding my foil, cling wrap, and parchment paper boxes. The organizer is super easy to assemble and it's completely versatile. Hang it over the cabinet door or attach it to the wall/cabinet door, which means it's great for renters and owners." — Kerry Get it from Amazon for $17.97+ (available in two styles). 23. They allow me to easily find any shirt in my closet and take up very little space compared to single shirts on single hangers. I can also group shirts together by style or color on a single swivel hanger. I am now able to hang additional items in my closet without crowding. I bought this in white and the edges are smooth." — CAGH Get a pack of 24 from Amazon for $17.99 (available in two colors). 28. I spent hours with a drill and screwdriver installing push down locks on cupboards five years ago. I now have another crawling baby, and those ones are all broken. I was dreading installing new ones and saw these. They literally go on in seconds, the bracket means it lines up perfectly, and the adhesive is strong! My older kids think the magnet key is super fun. Baby stays out of the chemicals, and I put one on the trash door, so the dog stays out of the trash so everyone gets to live longer. Win-win. I also love that you can 'turn' them off and on, so when my kids are bigger, we can flip the switch, but if little kids were visiting, we could put them back on." — Joseph J. Krakker Get a set of nine from Amazon for $27.99 (available in five pack sizes). 29. A ceiling fan carbon filter for grabbing dust, pollen, smoke, dander, and other allergens as the fan spins. It sticks to the fan blade and is unnoticeable — but you may notice the difference in the air! A pack of towel clips that'll prevent kids and pets from pulling down the towel. Or, maybe you have neither of those things, yet your hand and kitchen towels always end up on the ground. Amazon Promising review: "This clip is amazing. No more towels falling on the floor. It was becoming a routine thing since my cat thinks it's fun to pull the kitchen towels off the oven. Not now, bad kitty! Great I had bought one sooner!" — Joanna Get a three-pack from Amazon for $12.99. 4. A touch-up paint pen so you can fill in minor chips or paint over stains in tight areas where a larger brush simply wouldn't fit. It's also great for detail work; reviewers rave about it, especially for line and stencil work. Get a pack of two from Amazon for $16.99. 5. A pack of stain-removing pads because owning a pet is messy but these pads are up to the task. Pee? Check! Poop? Check! Vomit? Check! Just lay them over the spot, give 'em a stomp to activate their cleaning powders, and watch the stain disappear — no bulky carpet steamer necessary! Promising review:"WOW! Honestly, I was a little skeptical of the promise of these pads, but I bought them just to try them out. THEY WORKED AMAZINGLY WELL! Seriously. I have some stains that are 1.5–2 years old. I've tried everything to get them out. I put these pads on the stains (two to cover the spot), let them sit for about an hour, pulled them up, and the stain was gone. I truly couldn't believe it. The pad was yellow. Somehow, the old urine was soaked up into the pad. My carpet looks like new. I couldn't recommend these any higher for what I wanted and what I got. Wish I could give this more than five stars." — Matt Get a pack of 20 from Amazon for $27.49. 6. Some Command cord bundlers if your house is full of gadgets and gizmos aplenty and their cords are ugly and sprawled over every surface of your home. Tie them up neatly and stick 'em to your devices so you never have to go rooting around for a rubber band. Promising review: "I've only used it on a few appliances, but the one getting the most action would be the one on our coffee maker. It can't be adhered to surfaces that get hot (like a slow cooker), so I was able to find a spot that doesn't when we use it, and it has held up great so far. I've been using it for a few months, and so far, so good. I hate having cords trailing around on the counter, and this helped fix that. Worth the investment." — TravelBuff Get a six-pack from Amazon for $13.18. 7. And a Pikk-it tool that'll remove tangled hair that's lodged in your vacuum head and totally messes with your vac's absorption powers. (And ofc your fingers can't reach the hair!) You can also use it to detangle hair from the bristles of your hairbrush. Promising review: "Between myself (medium long hair) and my overly fluffy cat, a lot of hair and fluff was continually getting caught up on the roller brush of my vacuum. I dreaded vacuuming because it took so long to pull and snip the hairs wrapped up on the roller brush out with scissors. Not anymore! This silly, little, inexpensive thing works great! Super quick to remove all the hair/fur — in virtually a minute, then back to vacuuming with my lovely Miele vacuum." — MKS Get it from Amazon for $9.99. 10. A wood polish and conditioner so you can revive your embarrassingly worn, dinged, and dented cabinets, bed frame, and armoire as quick as a flash. Plus, this method is a heck of a lot cheaper than actually replacing the wood or furniture piece, and using this polish on a regular basis can actually help keep the wood hydrated so it lasts longer. Promising review: "What is this sorcery?! I've been slowly replacing my hand-me-down furniture with mid-century beauties. The pieces I can afford are in good but not perfect shape. There are scratches, dents, scuffs etc. This stuff is MAGIC. It doesn't help the physical dents, obviously, but it virtually erases the color defects so your eyes don't even register the damage. I bought this after seeing it in a BuzzFeed article about must-have household care products, and this really is essential. After I used it on my bedroom suite, I tried it on my door frames, and WOW. My house is old, built in the '60s, and the tired, worn-down wood has come back to life! I'm talking basically every speck of black mold is gone! *Cues up "Do You Believe in Magic"* Promising review:"Wow! I would give this 10 stars if I could. We've had issues for a few years with the caulking behind the handle of our kitchen faucet turning black from mildew. We've scrubbed with what seems like a million different products with no luck. We were actually just talking about ripping out the caulking and doing a total replacement. But my husband saw this online the other day and decided to order it. Almost immediately, when he applied it, you could see it was starting to work. We left it on overnight, and the black is COMPLETELY GONE! It's incredible. It's 1,000% worth the (small) investment. Seriously — just buy this. It's amazing!!" — Nicole D. Check out our Skyalrlife mold and mildew removal gel review for more deets! Get it from Amazon for $14.99. 12. Rinse it clean the next day, and you'll be amazed to see those hard water stains on your shower door are *poof* gone. Amazon Promising review:"We cannot BEGIN to tell you what a lifesaver this is! We have two old fiberglass tubs with vinyl shower enclosures that, no matter what amount of scrubbing we have done with everything from bleach to cleanser to vinegar and baking soda, would NOT come clean. After I took my shower last night, I sprayed down the tub and walls. Within minutes, all the built-up water deposits, dirt, and grime began to melt away in front of my eyes. I left it on overnight, and when I got up this morning, it did not look like the same tub and shower. This product is a godsend, especially for old folks like us who have difficulty getting down on our hands and knees and scrubbing anything. More importantly, it performs as advertised. We plan on using it as part of our weekly cleanup routine. This is truly an overnight sensation!" — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $20.98 (available in two scents). 13. An electrical outlet cover with a power strip to organize cluttered cords stat. It's also pretty great if you want to push your furniture right up against the wall but can't because your phone charger adapter is in the way. Promising review:"I have an outlet above our mantel that's meant for a wall-mounted TV. We have a large painting covering it. We wanted to use the plug to power two Wi-Fi speakers on the long mantel. The thinness of the plug is perfect behind the painting. The power strip is hidden by a mantel clock. So, we have two speakers on either side and no visible wires. This product may not work for every application, but for us, it's 10 stars." — Chashum Get it from Amazon for $24.95+ (available in two styles and four lengths). 14. A pack of shelf dividers for organizing your clothes into neat and distinct piles. These dividers provide stability for soft clothes (and even books and handbags) that tend to fall over into one big pile of mess. Promising review:"These work great! Now I'm pretty organized with my T-shirts." — Pathfndr Get it from Amazon for $17.99. 15. A water dispenser leveler that'll probably elicit a literal "OMG" from you now that you know there is a solution to the annoying problem of it being nearly impossible to fully fill a glass with water from the fridge because of the current angle of the spout. Made with a bamboo handle and powder-coated steel, it uses a simple lever system to make weeding easy. Promising review:"Oh my god, I friggin' love this tool. I bought this on a whim, given we bought our first house and know nothing about caring for a yard. Boy, has it come in handy. Our new house had a ton of weeds in the front yard, and this tool helped me get most of them out in no time. In fact, the process of yanking out the weeds was strangely satisfying! I don't think anyone can say that weeding is fun, but this tool made it as close to fun as you can get, especially when you see a long root along with the weed you pulled." — JG Get it from Amazon for $44.99. 18. A set of bed bands if your sheets slip and slide if you even look at them wrong. Promising review:"We have a rather deep mattress and added a memory foam topper, which gave our fitted sheet a real stretch to be able to securely tuck at the corners and not slip off. It would hold some of the time, but we frequently had a corner or two slip off during the night. After giving Bed Band a try our fitted sheet slipping problem is solved! The clamp design grips like iron, but the best part is the adjustable bands that allow for a quick final fit after installing the clamps. This makes for a much simpler installation, and with a product that, by its nature, needs to be removed and re-installed repeatedly (sheet washing), ease of installation is critical. Game-changer. I have to change my shower curtain liner a lot because of a humid bathroom (yes, even with a fan on 😬). Though there are greater issues in the world, why wouldn't you want to save yourself some time with these hooks? Not having to take the curtain off each time I change the liner has really been more satisfying than I had anticipated. An added bonus is the rings themselves: The balls that were added hug the shower curtain rod, so they never pop off. Something I never knew I needed either. Love these!" — Jdbouchart Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in 17 finishes). 20. What gives? Amazon They're safe to use with pretty much any type of washer: HE or regular, top-loading and front-loading. Promising review:"I've been using this product for several years now. I have two teens and a husband who's an auto technician. Boy do they get filthy! After time this grime buildup will make your washer stink bad. I don't do it every month as they say to as I don't have that type of money but when it stinks, this product is the bomb! Makes your washer smell really fresh, like brand new. If it still stinks after one tablet, pop another one in and no more stink!! Yay! I would give this 20 stars if I could. I recently received a pack to try and was surprised at how often I found myself reaching for them. As someone who buys sponges in bulk, I usually forget which sponge is the dish sponge and which is the cleaning sponge. Now that I have these dishcloths to handle easy messes, I don't have to worry about accidentally washing my dishes with the sponge that has bleach and harsh chemicals on it. Promising review:" I heard about these on TikTok. I wanted something that simply absorbs my cleaner and what's wet off the counter without streaking crap like most washcloths and sponges do. These showed up today sturdy and kinda weird. I sprayed my dirty, oily stovetop with cleaner, got one of the square sponges wet, and started wiping up the counters and stove. Hot diggity dog! I love this sponge already! Cleaned up completely and didn't require multiple passes. When you use it, you'll know what I'm talking about. Raise your hand if you hate cleaning your oven. Great. Now take that same hand and click the "add to cart" button. Amazon Promising review:"I got tired of cleaning the bottom of my oven out after every drip and spill, or running the 'oven clean' option, which uses up so much energy and makes my house HOT during the process. I used to have foil on the bottom of the oven to help with spills, and that improved things greatly — but then you have to replace the foil after a while. I had to cut them to size, which was easy to do with a simple pair of household scissors. Then I placed them in the oven (they look nice!), and I waited for it to get messy. I cooked something super messy and finally needed to clean the liner. It was SO easy; I put it in the sink and used my sink sprayer and everything immediately slid right off the liner. No problem! I have a double oven, so I was glad this pack came with more than one. I have one in each oven and one on standby in case I need it. I know that having a dirty oven isn't the worst thing in the world, but if it matters to you, try these!" — Hpg Get a set of three from Amazon for $13.99. 24. Sticky rollers work fine for clothes, but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound tabby, and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing — he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care, it's THAT good." — DH Get it from Amazon for $23.99+ (available in two colors). 25. That's three bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room, hallway, and mud room in under 15 minutes. It used to take me almost half a day and very sore knees and back. I even dusted the tops of some picture frames. Very easy to rinse off when I was done. It helps us to use the air fryer more, as it's easy to glance over and time things correctly. I like that it is a dark color so it doesn't get messy as easily, and it has all the things we are most likely to use the air fryer for. I honestly went over the couch about four times, and each time, the water came back up brown! After the fourth time, though, the urine smell is finally just about gone, with the exception of one small spot (instead of the entire couch cushion)! I quickly went to clean our ivory cushion dining room chairs, and I didn't realize how dirty they even were until cleaning them. More brown water! With the way they are designed, items don't get stuck in the drawers, they are easy to slide, they are spacious, and they have little removable 'sectionals' that you can use to organize the inside of the drawers. All in all, this was a great purchase, and I would make it again in a heartbeat." — Tess De Pretis Get it from Amazon for $16.99+ (available in four colors and with or without dividers). 30. 43 Mundane Household Essentials That'll Actually Make Your Life Easier
We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. These finds are about to be the unsung heroes of your home. 1. A tub of The Pink Stuff, aka an all-purpose paste you can use to scrub anything in your home, from your bathroom's faucet, tub, and tiles to your kitchen's oven, fridge, stovetop, and saucepans. With very minimal effort (aka scrubbing) on your part, this pink goo goes the distance, so you don't have to. Promising review: "Moved into this house with what must be over eight years of water scum on the shower glass — enough to make it look frosted. I had a cleaning crew come out to clean the house, and they worked for hours in the bathroom, and still couldn't get that glass clear. I thought I was just going to have to live with I remembered I bought the pink paste! I completely forgot I had it in my utility closet. I began using it, and I couldn't believe it. I'm so excited to continue on and free my bathroom of the remaining water marks! This product is a must-have" — Abigail Pafford Get it from Amazon for $5.97. 2. A pack of refillable multi-surface touch up paint pens to effortlessly fix scratches and nicks on walls and doors. Just fill up a pen with paint of your choice and brush the problem area. Slobproof is a small business that makes paint touch-up pens. Promising review:"I keep these in my kitchen drawer and it's SO convenient for my painted cabinets! I moved into a house with older wood cabinets, and because it's such a small kitchen I knew that painting the cabinets white (actually went with cream!) would make it feel so much larger! I LOVE the way they look, but inevitably (even though I sanded and prepped), I'll get little chips in the paint. These touch up pens stay in my junk drawer full of paint at all times. The cap makes it so it never dries out and stays super clean. But I'm able to grab them any time and just touch things up so my cabinets ALWAYS look fresh." — Claire Flores Get it from Slobproof on Amazon for $14.99+ (available in packs of two or five). 3. A sock and underwear organizer because you deserve to open a drawer and actually see what your options are. Gone will be the days of going to grab some socks, bras, or undies, only to find a giant pile of indiscernible fabrics. Promising review:"I LOVE LOVE LOVE these organizers!! I almost did not purchase them due to the reviews saying that larger than a C-cup would not fit into the bra organizer. At just $15 for four organizers I took my chances and ordered two sets of four. I figured, worst-case scenario I would have to cut the dividers out of the bra organizers. Blackwell Get a four-pack from Amazon for $13.97+ (available in seven colors). 4. A pack of motion-activated, rechargeable, wireless LED lights to perfectly illuminate your bathroom at night. My bathroom's light switch automatically turns on my obnoxiously loud ceiling fan, which at night can wake up the whole house. Now, whenever I need to use the restroom at night these automatically turn on when I open the door. Sally Elshorafa / BuzzFeed The light is soft, and provides just enough illumination that I can see where I'm going but not be hit with bright light. A single charge will power the light for about two weeks, and I use this USB charging station to charge all the lights at once (I have a total of six spread throughout my home). Each pack comes with the self-adhesive stickers you'll need to install them. Promising review: "We originally bought two to put in our poorly lit kitchen over the counters to help us see better. They were definitely bright enough for our purposes, and now we plan to buy more for other places in the house as well. There is no kitchen tool I use more than this — egg shells and chopped fruit in the mornings, diced and minced veggies throughout the day, and even food scraps when I'm cleaning as I cook. Tap to play GIF The side walls mean you can scoop large portions of stuff without it falling off the sides, which is great when you're cooking a big meal. I also use this for clean-up, which has dramatically cut down on the time it takes to finish the job. ALSO, I've had this for maybe three years, and it looks as good and works as great as the very first time I used it. Promising review: "Great mop when you need the job done fast. Liquid refills are easy to pop in, and you can slap on replacement mop pads in a hurry (you'll know when they need to be replaced). This mop is ideal when you get one of those 'I'll see you in 10 minutes' phone calls. Just press the release button on the handle, and a spray will shoot out at the center of the path. Tip: I run the mop head under warm water first and squeeze it out before I start, as a damp mop works better. The floor is clean in no time and I like that I don't need to store a separate bottle of cleaner. My mom loves that it's lightweight, so she can carry it upstairs and mop the hall floors and bathroom tiles. Gladly recommend. — A. Mitchell Get it from Amazon for $29.94. 9. A set of Beckham Hotel Collection pillows to replace your old pillows. These are big, fluffy, and soft, and everyone says it feels like you're sleeping at a fancy hotel when you use them. Yes, please! See them in action in TikTok user Aprill Mae's video. Promising review: "Due to packaging, they are quite flat at first. Laid them flat for a few hours. Shook and fluffed them up and was able to sleep like a baby last night. These pillows are heavenly. I say that because it feels as though you're sleeping on a cloud. I slept with both. One under my head and one to hug. They stayed a comfortable temp all night long. The first morning, I didn't wake up with neck, shoulder, and back pain in over a week and a half. I feel rested and refreshed." — Amazon Customer "These are THE BEST pillows! I'm a side/stomach sleeper and these provide the perfect amount of support for me. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly, highly recommend." — Irene Pope Get it from Amazon for $47.99 (available in a queen size; be sure to clip the 20% off coupon). 10. A TubShroom for collecting the mass of hair that would normally clog your drain. When the water in your shower/tub starts to drain slower than usual, pop this product out, clean out the hair it's collected, and insert it back into the drain. This thing collects all the icky loose hair neatly around it (at the bottom, so you can't see it when the TubShroom is in place), so all you have to do is wipe it off! It's super simple, yet so genius that some folks are about ready to make it their religion — read for yourself: Promising review:"The TubShroom is a life changer. To market this simply as a revolutionary bathtub strainer is to degrade the perfection of the TubShroom. People often describe their life split into ages, from childhood to college, from marriage to the birth of their children, career growth to retirement. I see my life divided into two distinct periods centered on one singular event: the gloomy, pestilent dark ages before TubShroom, and all the glorious, magnificent days thereafter. No amount of glowing, favorable adjectives will ever do justice to the magnificence of the TubShroom. These are but feeble, limiting words, which by their very nature, cannot capture the richness, splendor, and transcendent power that is the TubShroom. The TubShroom is embodied enlightenment disguised as a humble implement to avoid bathtub clogs." — Zerubba U Levi Get it from Amazon for $12.95+ (available in six colors). If you don't have a sunken-in drain that can fit the Tubshroom, Oxo makes a good universal drain protector you can get from Amazon for $11.99. 11. Promising review:"I moved to my apartment a few months ago and haven't hung anything because it is difficult/annoying to do it myself without it being crooked. My former colleague Brittany Ross says, " I don't know what kind of fairy dust this plant-based spray is hiding inside, but it made my mucked-up fridge sparkle within a MINUTE! I was skeptical when I first sprayed it onto my fridge because it took a second for the streaks to start fading, but lo and behold, there was *zero* residue left behind after a super brief wipe sesh. Once I saw how downright dazzling my fridge looked, I decided to put it to the ~real~ test — my filthy dishwasher. Again, a minute of buffing with a microfiber towel was enough to make it look like a brand new appliance, and it worked wonders on the greasy stainless steel edges of my oven, too." Promising review: "This is a miracle worker on stainless. I have tried everything to get my stainless to shine like it should, even the home remedies, which do NOT work — sorry but they don't. Promising review:"I finally invested in blackout curtains for my room and my kids' room, and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner! These curtains do exactly what they are supposed to do. My kids are early risers, usually getting up when the sun comes up. Today, I was able to sleep until 9:30 because they were still in bed! I woke up not even knowing what time it was because my room was still so dark, haha! These especially made a huge difference in my room which faces the side of the house the sun rises on. I ended up putting two on my hallway switches as well. What a great product." — LMK Get it from Amazon for $22.98+ (available in three styles and four colors). 15. Some Shoe Slotz designed so you can store your shoes on top of each other instead of side-by-side, therefore freeing up a bunch of space in your closet and making your shoes look extra neat and tidy. As you can see from the before pic (above), it was a big mess; my shoes were piled on top of each other and getting really dirty. Traditional shoe caddies or boxes didn't really work because there's not much horizontal space, so I tried the Shoe Slotz. It fixed the problem perfectly! Because the design smartly stacks one shoe on top of the other, you save 50% of the space you'd normally use to store your shoes." I live alone, and no one ever comes over, so I just deal with the chair with dreams of reupholstering it someday. I've seen articles for defusers but never used one and always thought they were for sweaters or things that have just balled up, not that they had entire threads ripped out. A few days ago I saw someone's review for this one, used on loose threads, so I immediately bought it. It arrived today, and I used scissors to trim the threads. It was so easy to use and did an amazing job! I spent probably 90 minutes total doing my entire oversized chair and then spot cleaned it. It looks brand new! I have my awesome chair back! I almost donated this chair a hundred times over the last four years but didn't want to part with it. I really appreciate that it has multiple fan speeds because on speed 3 it is loud. It's not disturbing or annoying, just sounds like a fan. It helps keep the air pure and I've noticed a huge difference when it's on versus off. It's incredibly light, making it so easy to move and you can decide where to put it. You can fit quite a few spoons etc. in each slot. My beater attachments fit perfectly into the top two hollows. I will say I have to flip my forks over face down in order to be able to shut and open my drawer, but then the drawer itself is kind of shallow. Then I saw this product on BuzzFeed and thought to myself, why not? The first time I used it cleaned it out pretty well. Better than the other products. But then I used it a second time and there was no smell. I'm going on two weeks of using my dishwasher and I can't smell anything. I highly recommend this if you're having the same problem I was. Sally Elshorafa/BuzzFeed, Amazon Before we had this, there were several instances where, groggy in the morning, someone unloaded all the dirty dishes into the cabinets before realizing they hadn't been cleaned yet. Since getting this, we've never once not known if the dishes were clean or dirty. A lifesaver for our busy household! Promising review:"I never thought I would need one of these magnets, but I'm that person who thoroughly rinses everything before loading it into the dishwasher, and that started causing some confusion for our family. After my son was born and I returned to work, we had both sets of parents watching our baby every week on different days, and things got chaotic around here. Not only did it stop my MIL from using dirty dishes she was retrieving from the dishwasher instead of the cupboard, it helped my husband and I stay on track with loading and unloading it accordingly. It sticks great to my stainless KitchenAid dishwasher, and as soon as I unload it, I switch it to the red 'dirty' side so everyone knows not to grab glasses from there. Once it's full and I start a new cycle, I switch it back to the green 'clean' side so that when it's finished running, anyone can unload it and put the dishes away or just fish whatever they want from there to use." — Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in six styles). 40. A sleek, magnetized dry-erase board for your fridge so you can stay on top of your tasks and grocery shopping list. You can easily keep track of all the eggs, blueberries, and bulk iced coffee concentrate you'll need for your next grocery run. Promising review: "I have it to write down things to buy. Very convenient and came with a good number of markers. It's really simple to clean. I use a wet cloth when I don't want to use the eraser, and that works easy also." — Stephanie Rios Get it from Amazon for $16.99. 41. A bottle of non-toxic Folex Carpet Spot Remover that miraculously removes all types of stains from carpet and upholstery, including pet accidents, grease, oil, ink, red wine, coffee, blood, rust, food, cosmetics, dirt, and grime — really, anything! To use, apply to the stain, gently agitate with your fingers, and blot with an absorbent cloth. This is non-toxic and should be non-irritating on the skin! Promising review:"I had terrible rust and oil stains all over the seats of my car when I bought it. I tried other cleaners to get it out, but they actually made the stains darker. I took it to the dealership to see if they could get it out and they flat out told me no, so I gave up and lived with it for almost five years. I tried this after it was recommended by a friend. I sprayed it on and literally watched the stain run right off my seat. It was amazing! I thought I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the seats in my car because nothing else would work. This stuff really is awesome!" — Brittany Get it from Amazon for $6.65. 42. A windproof rechargeable lighter for all your candles and fireplace needs. The flexible neck makes it easy to light hard-to-reach wicks, and it'll spark 400 times before recharging. Heather Braga / BuzzFeed, Amazon Promising review:"This is seriously the coolest device of my winter holiday. It makes lighting candles a breeze. Yes, there is a weird crackling noise, but that's a super minor annoyance. It's a super intuitive device. Plus the lighter with the USB (included), charge for a bit, then pop it open and light ALL THE THINGS; well, candles. I don't know how well it lights cigarettes or whatever. However, for my personal intended use, it's awesome!" — Jee W Get it from Amazon for $6.79+ (available in nine colors and patterns). 43. And a toothpaste squeezer that doubles as a stand so you never waste toothpaste or countertop space again. I'm a person who likes an uncluttered bathroom countertop, and having this hold my toothpaste straight up as opposed to just laying it down frees up space and keeps it looking tidy. It also ensures no toothpaste ever goes to waste; I've noticed since using it that I go way longer between needing a new tube. Sally Elshorafa / BuzzFeed I just really hate wasting product, but so many bottles and tubes make it impossible to get the last couple of tablespoons of stuff out. I can't stand this! With this squeezer, I literally get ALL the toothpaste out before I need a new tube, and it's soooo satisfying. Promising review: "No instructions come with it, but it is fairly obvious how it works. Bottom of the tube through the body slot into the turnkey slot, and turn the key enough to clamp the tube in place. Stands upright, making a very small footprint. Wind too tight, and you might pop the cap with toothpaste under pressure. Gonna try it with other tubed products, like tomato paste and bacitracin." — Stephanie L.
