Avika Gor, best known for her iconic role as young Anandi in Balika Vadhu, recently got engaged to Milind Chandwani, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus and social activist. Their journey began in 2020 in Hyderabad, where they were introduced through mutual friends. What started as a casual acquaintance quickly turned into a close friendship, though it took time to blossom into a romantic a conversation on a podcast hosted by Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Avika revealed that while she was sure about her feelings from the start, Milind chose to stay in the friend zone for the first six months. Avika jokingly said that in her mind, she was already married to him even before they began dating. Milind, on the other hand, wanted to ensure they had a strong foundation as friends before taking the relationship the same interview, Avika explained that Milind eventually reciprocated her feelings after six months. When she asked him why he had taken so long, he calmly told her that he wanted to be sure of their compatibility beyond the initial attraction.
