Police looking for suspects who went on shopping spree with stolen wallet

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – Law enforcement is on the lookout for suspects who stole someone's wallet and bought several items from area businesses. According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, around 4:30 p.m., April 12, a man and woman entered a small business on the 800 block of North First Street. While inside, a wallet was reportedly stolen from the owner's desk. The suspects then allegedly used credit cards from the stolen wallet, purchasing several items from Smoker Friendly and other businesses. Security footage captured the two suspects. The man was described as White with tattoos inside his forearms, a nose ring and short dark hair. He was last seen sporting a floral baseball hat, black T-shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is a White female with tattoos on her forearms, shoulders and stomach. She has short brown hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a gray crop top and black torn jeans. Anyone who knows the suspects can submit a tip anonymously on the P3tips app, at or call 970-241-7867. Any information that leads to an arrest can result in a $1,000 reward.
