Snakes and Ladders is the latest drama on Netflix, with a solid cast and a simple but enjoyable story at its heart. Having watched the first season in its entirety, you may be wondering if this one has been renewed or cancelled. Well, wonder no more!
What is Snakes and Ladders about?
Snakes and Ladders takes place in a renowned school, where a teacher becomes involved in a dispute between two students. What appears to be just another incident winds up changing our protagonist's entire life in a story about ambition, power, and glory.

Has Snakes and Ladders been renewed for Season 2?
At the time of writing, Snakes and Ladders has not been renewed for season 2. Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show's future is made. So far, Bet has had a pretty good reaction online from critics and audiences alike.
Given the way this show is set up, and the ending we receive, we're predicting that this will not be renewed for a second season.
The series has a lot of potential and although Netflix tend to be hit or miss with its teen offerings, we're going to opt for this not getting the nod.
There has been a lot of content released in this field lately – including Forever, Bet and the upcoming next season of Ginny and Georgia – so this one could be left out.
However, we could be completely wrong too, so take our prediction with a pinch of salt!
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about Snakes and Ladders season 2 at this point. Given the first season's conclusion and the hopes from cast and crew for more, it could well be given the nod for more to come but it does seem unlikely.
However, if it should return we can expect another 8 episode run and a return for many of the cast and characters. We will update this page when more information becomes available, so be sure to check this page out in the near future.
