Multiple Olathe convenience stores raided
OLATHE, Kan. — FOX4 has learned several Snaps stores in Olathe were raided Friday.
'We don't know any of the products was illegal, otherwise we won't put it out at the store, right?' the owner of the Ridgeview and Kansas City Road shop, who did not want to be identified, shared with FOX4 Monday.
Snaps Food Mart, at Ridgeview and Kansas City Road, has flags out-front advertising it sells e-juice, vapes and accessories, along with Kratom.

The store, at Ridgeview and Kansas City Road, had some product pulled from its shelves Friday. It's unclear what was taken and exactly how much.
'One of my employees called me and they said: 'We got raided.' They came and they took all these products, put them in these boxes and they left,' the owner said. 'Items off the shelf.'
The owner, of that specific store, claims he didn't know any of the products he sold might have been illegal.
'Add to that, everybody in the state of Kansas, from border to border, they sell (the) same thing,' he added. 'Same wholesalers. Same suppliers. Same companies.'
He said education surrounding what can be sold and what can't – is lacking.
'They (companies who sell the product) come running around the vape shop and gas station and sell them the same stuff. Show them lab result is good for Kansas and according to Kansas law and we buy it. We put it on the display (in) front of everybody. Nothing hidden,' the owner said. 'Everybody (is) confused, should I carry it or not?'
Another store in Olathe, classified as a vape shop, confirmed to FOX4, it too had product taken, this store is under different ownership.

'You go see different places, you'll find the same products, so my question, why don't you go bust everybody then?'
The owner at Ridgeview and Kansas City Road says officers took product for 'lab testing.' He doesn't know when he will get items back, if at all.
FOX4 tried several times throughout the day Monday to reach out to the Olathe Police Department, to understand why the raid happened and what was seized.
We were unable to get information from the department Monday. We are hoping to have answers from them Tuesday.
