Orlando Pirates identify Spanish boss to replace Riveiro?

Orlando Pirates are keeping things Iberian in their search for a new head coach. Is this the man to replace Jose Riveiro? 'There have been talks between Pablo Franco Martin and Orlando Pirates,' an inside source revealed. 'An offer has been made, but he is not the only coach the club is looking at, and there are other candidates. He is very interested in the Pirates job, and he has since parted ways with the club he was coaching in Saudi Arabia, despite being made an offer to increase his salary to renew his contract.' Bobby makes a big transfer promise to Kaizer Chiefs fans

Kaizer Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung is ready to put his money where his mouth is after the club's Nedbank Cup win. 'It has been a hard-fought journey and well-deserved for the boys, supporters, and the chairman, who has been patient with everybody. Almost 10 years of waiting just for the trophy to put a smile on our fans,' Bobby told SuperSport TV . 'I thank this team, and the generation that we have got, who have fought hard. For me, it's team spirit and togetherness under a tight ship. This is a young team. 'We are still going to beef up. Obviously, we are going to Africa now. 'But what is important is the journey that we have travelled. The types of injuries we have had, and the pressure these boys have been under. I think they deserve the trophy and the happiness,' the Kaizer Chiefs boss added. According to Soccer-Laduma , Sekhukhune left-back Vuyo Letlapa is poised for a move to Nice in France's Ligue 1. The 21-year-old has made 22 league appearances this term with four assists. Click for the story Chiefs fans haven't enjoyed the ride this season.
