Homewood Theatre presenting student production of ‘Descendants'
HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WIAT) — Homewood Theatre's K-12th grade students will perform their production of 'Descendants' from April 25- 27 in Homewood Central Park.
Each show will be free to attend. Showtimes on April 25 and 26 will be at 7:30 p.m. The performance on April 27 will be at 2:30 p.m.
A preview of the student production will be offered at the Homewood City Hall Plaza near Social Taco at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Homewood Library Foundation hosting block party
Last year, Homewood Theatre's Student Performing Arts Company's production of 'The Little Mermaid Jr.' was seen by over 600 audience members. The group hopes to increase that number this year.
The event will feature local sponsor tents and food trucks for audience members to enjoy during the shows.
