Fenerbahçe to Keep Sofyan Amrabat on a Permanent Deal
Rabat — Turkiye's Fenerbahçe has reportedly decided to keep Sofyam Amrabat on a permanent deal, according to media reports.
Turkish sports-focused news outlet NTV Spor said that the Turkish club will keep Amrabat through the purchase option with a €12 million budget.
The same source continued that the player is now one of coach Mourinho's key players. Amrabat joined the club from Fiorentina on a loan in August of last year.
'Fenerbahçe is reportedly planning to buy Amrabat, who is targeted by Al Ahli,' the news outlet added.
The Atlas Lion scored two goals and made three assists with the club this season, where he played 33 matches across all competitions.
In August 2024, Fiorentina expressed that Amrabat's loan transfer comes with an obligation to buy.
The Atlas Lion played for major clubs before his experience in Fiorentina and Fenerbahçe, including in Manchester United.
The football player is one of the key Atlas Lions for coach Walid Regragui. He is one of the stars that made international headlines during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when Morocco made history establishing itself as the first African and Arab country to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
