Shreveport Memorial Day garbage collection schedule update
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Shreveport's garbage collection will change on Memorial Day, May 26. According to the City of Shreveport, garbage will not be collected on Monday; it will be collected the following day. Tuesday's garbage will be collected on Wednesday, 28, 2025. There will be no changes for Thursday and Friday's garbage collection. Dancing and dirt at Shreveport Green's Volunteer Day If you need additional information or would like to request a heavy item (bulk) pick up, please call the Solid Waste Office at (318) 673-6300. Shreveport adjusts garbage collection schedule for Good Friday
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—The garbage collection schedule in Shreveport will be changed temporarily. With Good Friday approaching, Shreveport Garbage has released a revised schedule for the week of April 18. Monday, April 14, 2025: garbage will be collected. Tuesday, April 15, 2025: garbage will be collected. Wednesday, April 16, 2025: garbage will be collected. Thursday, April 17, 2025: garbage will be collected. Friday, April 18, 2025: no garbage collections. City offices will be closed for Good Friday. No bulk collections will be scheduled for this week. All heavy items called in will be scheduled for a future collection day.
