3 taken to hospital after Somerset highway crash
SOMERSET, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three people were taken to the hospital on Saturday after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 914 in Somerset. KENTUCKY (FOX 56) — The FOX 56 Weather Authority has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Pulaski County and is moving into Laurel County on Friday night. Latest central Kentucky weather forecast Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, FOX 56 chief meteorologist Justin Logan said that a tornado was moving toward Laurel County from Pulaski County at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. Tornadoes can be extremely dangerous, and the Weather Authority asked anyone in a mobile home in the London and Pulaski County areas to leave and seek shelter. The Somerset Fire Department posted on Facebook around 11 p.m. on Friday that crews were dispatched to Stoplight 22 as well as the Parker's Mill Road area in response to weather damage caused by tornado activity. In Somerset, US Route 27 saw the most damage, with the well-known Baxter's Coffee shop and a nearby Lutheran church sustaining visible damage. Motorcycle rider fatally injured, passenger injured, in Lenawee County crash

The accident happened about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Devils Lake Highway, near Waters Edge Drive in Woodstock Township. The Lenawee County Sheriff's Office reported that the 2023 Harley Davidson FLXSH was northbound on Devils Lake Highway but the driver lost control and the motorcycle went off the road. As a result of the crash, the motorcycle struck a mailbox and both the driver and passenger were thrown off. The person who called 911 did CPR on the driver until EMS arrived. But the driver, a 34-year-old woman from Hillsdale, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 36-year-old man, was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance hospital for his injuries. Neither one was wearing a helmet, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation by the Lenawee County Accident Investigation Team. The Lenawee County Sheriff's Office also was assisted by Addison Fire Department, Somerset Fire Department and the Lenawee County Medical Examiner's Office.

SOMERSET, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three people were injured on Thursday, and one of them was flown to a hospital for treatment after a crash in the area of Highway 27 and Parkers Mill. The Somerset Fire Department posted on Facebook that on Thursday, crews were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 27 and Parkers Mill Way in response to a two-vehicle crash that left passengers unable to get out. When fire crews got to the scene, they reportedly had to use emergency lifesaving equipment to rescue those who had been hurt in the crash and get them to safety.
