Neighboring help for Cello dreams
Ten-year-old Sophia Pokladowski lost her right hand while an infant, but that did not stop her from wanting to learn how to play the cello. Something that perhaps seems impossible to some was not impossible for Sophia. With the help of her dad, teachers, and some engineering students, genius minds came together and 3D printed a prosthetic bow for her hand, allowing her to fulfill her dream of playing the cello.
Fewer weed shops in Denver
The city of Denver said it won't allow any more marijuana dispensaries to be built in some areas around town because it was found that there are too many. The decision comes as sales numbers continue to drop because other states have legalized recreational marijuana.
Bryant mural vandalized
The newly restored Kobe and Gigi Bryant mural in downtown Los Angeles has been vandalized once again, just months after its restoration in April. Many donated to restore the mural to its original state, thanks to artist Sloe Motion, although it remains to be seen if he will repaint it once again.
